IT’S THAT TIME

Are you feeling a little overwhelmed? You survived COVID-19, mask mandates, and a record-breaking Texas winter, but now you look around your yard and see that everything needs serious attention.
When it comes to your landscaping, yes, the majority of our plant material has been negatively impacted. But take this as an opportunity to assess. Think about what worked and what didn’t last year, as well as what you liked versus what you’d like to change. This is also the perfect time to get a jump-start on that update you’ve been putting off -- before everyone else beats you to the punch. I say that because COVID had people at home for the past year making exterior improvements, which has led to limited availability. And when you put record-breaking statewide freezing temperatures on top of that, it shouldn’t be a surprise that everyone will be grabbing for much of the same plant material. Just looking at timing and the number of service calls we’ve been fielding at our office, I’m betting that we will run into a scenario at some point where quantities are extremely low and prices are inflated. You could wait it out, but I’d recommend getting an early jump on your landscape project.
