In 2017, Journey to Dream opened Kyle’s Place to provide transitional living for teens between the ages of 14 to 19. It’s a comfortable place and safe shelter for teens to live and pursue their futures while working with family counselors and mentors who help with life skills. “At Kyle’s Place, these teens learn a new way of life,” said Sims, the Chief Development Officer for Journey to Dream. “We want them to experience love and support – many for the first time – while they work towards overcoming negative behavioral cycles, achieving goals, and becoming optimistic about the future.”

Funds raised from the King Metals Invitational will make a significant impact on the war against teen homelessness and allow for the continued care of these atrisk, homeless, and underserved teens.
