Kunstenares Tille Pepermans (1993, Machelen) presenteert haar nieuwe tentoonstelling ‘ZW 20-21’ in het Arentshuis. Pepermans staat bekend als een virtuoze tekenaar en voor deze expo bedacht ze een reeks nieuwe tekeningen, deels gebaseerd op werken uit de grafische collectie van Musea Brugge en deels afkomstig uit haar beeldarchief. Ze liet deze tekeningen inscannen en projecteert ze op de wanden van het museum. De kunstenares dompelt je onder in haar fascinerende omgevingen. Je ontdekt enerzijds een wereld bevolkt door mensen en anderzijds een wereld waar de mens uit verdween. Houdt ze een pleidooi voor de verbinding tussen mensen of voor contemplatie?

Pepermans found inspiration in various works from the Musea Brugge collection. She uses these works as a basis for transporting the viewer into a surrealistic world, where the many striking details make it possible to embark on a visual voyage of discovery. F La jeune artiste féminine Tille Pepermans (*1993, Machelen) a conçu des nouveaux dessins et peintures murales pour cette expo au musée Arentshuis. Pour ce faire, Pepermans s’est laissé inspirer par des œuvres de la collection de Musea Brugge. Elle plonge le visiteur dans un monde surréaliste où les nombreux détails lui permettent d’effectuer un véritable voyage visuel.
