A 1920s article about ectoplasmic hands or "spirit gloves". The article discusses the controversy between Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sir Arthur Keith regarding the authenticity of ectoplasmic hands. Featured are several photos of man-mad "scientific" ectoplasmic hands along side those produced at a seance. The hands produced at a seance were said to be materialized from ectoplasm by spirits while the fake hands were produced out of wax in the Royal College of Surgeons laboratory.
