A exposição consiste de um conjunto de 96 fotografias provenientes de brasileiros que vivem em diversas partes do mundo, ou que de alguma forma tiveram uma vivência no exterior, exibidas como arte postal digital. Foi concebida no âmbito do Ponto de Memória Museu Virtual de Brasileiros e Brasileiras no Exterior (http:// memoria.eu.org), visando estabelecer um espaço compartilhado onde olhares são entrecruzados na construção de uma memória coletiva. Reúne trabalhos de fotógrafos experientes e amadores, que se utilizam de diversos tipos de equipamentos fotográficos: câmeras de aparelhos telefônicos móveis, computadores, tablets, etc.
The exhibition consists on a collection of 96 photographs from Brazilians living abroad, or that somehow had an experience abroad, displayed originally as digital mail art. It was conceived as part of the memory point Virtual Museum of Brazilians Abroad (http://memoria.eu.org), to establish a shared space where gazes are interwoven in the process of collective memory building. It brings together artworks by experienced and amateur photographers, who use various types of photographic equipment: still cameras, digital cameras, camera phones, computers, tablets, etc.

que se desdobram a partir de um olhar lançado de uma janela. As memórias compartilhadas na exposição virtual são fragmentos de espaços e tempos que se cruzam, se interpenetram e se misturam.
who dream, move, unfolding themselves in a gaze from the window to the world. The memories shared in the virtual exhibition intersect, intertwine and mingle fragments of space and time. The exhibition in the virtual context gained new power through deterritorialization, becoming a poetic and experimental space. On the other hand, the curatorial project also includes some developments of this complex artwork, such as an electronic Artist’s Book and physical exhibitions, which aim to expand its possibilities, projecting the gazes in multiple spaces.
A exposição no contexto virtual ganha nova potência na medida em que se desterritorializa, se tornando um espaço poético e experimental. Por outro lado, o projeto curatorial previu ainda uma série de desdobramentos deste complexo objeto artístico na forma de Livro de Artista eletrônico e exposições físicas, que pretendem ampliar as possibilidades expográficas e projetar os olhares em espaços múltiplos.

Quantas vezes é dali, da janela, que por um descuido deixamos que tome voo nossos sonhos? Os futuros, as memórias, as saudades. A vista do horizonte, da silhueta dos prédios recortados no céu do fim do dia, do mundo paralelo do vizinho.
How often is there, from a window, which by an oversight we left to take flight our dreams? Future, the memories, the nostalgia. The view of the horizon, the silhouette of the buildings cut in the sky of the evening, the neighbor parallel’s world.
Poderíamos considerar a janela sendo o diafragma da câmera, permitindo que a luz e todo aquele ambiente externo chegue ao fotossensível, ao “indivíduossensível” àquela cena. A exposição virtual Da Janela para o Mundo compõe-se de fotografias feitas através de janelas ao redor mundo, a visão de brasileiros no exterior em seu momento de contemplação e testemunho.
We could consider the window as the camera diaphragm, allowing light and all the external environment reach the light sensitive, the “individual sensitive” by that scene. The virtual exhibition From Window to the World consists of photographs taken through windows around the world, the Brazilian gaze abroad at a time of contemplation and testimony.
Brasileiros no estrangeiro, residentes ou passantes, fotógrafos profissionais, amadores ou por oportunidade, independentemente do equipamento utilizado, todos foram convidados, através de redes sociais e pelo site do Museu, a participar dessa mostra que não tem lugar fixo, é “desterritorializada” no campo virtual.
Brazilians abroad, residents or bystanders, professional photographers, amateur or by opportunity, regardless of the equipment used, all were invited, through social networks and the Virtual Museum website, to participate in this show that has no fixed place, is “deterritorialized” in a virtual field.

Celina Lage é professora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes e dos Cursos de Graduação da Escola Guignard (UEMG). Ganhadora do prêmio Pontos de Memória no Exterior do Instituto Brasileiro de Museus e do Ministério da Cultura, e do prêmio Coroa de Ouro pela Associação do Helenismo Ecumênico (Grécia). Possui atuação artística internacional no campo da música experimental, poesia sonora, poesia digital e curadoria de eventos multimídia.
Celina Lage is professor of the Graduate Program in Arts and Graduation Courses of Guignard School, Steate University of Minas Gerais. Winner of Memory Points Prize abroad of the Brazilian Institute of Museums and the Ministry of Culture, and the Golden Wreath Award by the Association of Ecumenical Hellenism (Greece). She have developed many international projects in the field of experimental music, sound poetry, digital poetry and art curation.
Jade Liz nasceu em Belo Horizonte, onde também vive e trabalha. É Bacharelanda em Artes Plásticas pela Escola Guignard (UEMG). Sua produção artística se concentra no campo da fotografia e editoração. Atua como pesquisadora e curadora no projeto artístico internacional Museu Virtual de Brasileiros e Brasileiras no Exterior.
Jade Liz was born in Belo Horizonte, where also lives and works. Is graduating on Bachelor in Plastic Arts at Guignard School, State University of Minas Gerais. Her artistic production is focused on photography and publications. Works as researcher and curator at the international artistic project Virtual Museum of Brazilians Abroad.
