ARTIST BIOGRAPHY Adriana Magdovski, a pianist of Polish-Macedonian heritage, garnered early acclaim at the Conservatory Maribor under Milena Sever. Her exceptional talent earned her top honors at the 21st national competition. Magdovski’s virtuosity led to solo recitals nationwide and collaborations with prominent orchestras. Accepted at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz (Austria) at just fifteen, she refined her skills with Doris WolfBlumauer. Further studies with esteemed mentors like Norma Fisher in London and Oleg Maisenberg and Wolfgang Bloser in Stuttgart enriched her artistry. A pivotal moment in Magdovski’s artistic journey was her association with renowned flutist Irena Grafenauer, beginning at the International Music Festival in Maribor. She thrives as a chamber musician alongside esteemed artists like Soula Parassidis, Norman Reinhardt, and more. Magdovski is the recipient of prestigious awards including the Martha Debelli Award, Gina Bachauer International Junior Piano Competition prize, and Soroptimist International Amsterdam Scholarship. Her solo performances and recordings resonate across Europe, Africa, and the United States.
