This recital is presented as a degree requirement for a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance.
Skylar Warren is a junior at University of the Pacific pursuing a bachelor’s degree in horn performance as a student of Sadie Glass, as well as a bachelor’s degree in composition studying with Andrew Conklin. He is the assistant music director for the 28/78 New Music Ensemble and as a brother of the Phi Mu Alpha (ΦMA) music fraternity. He has attended the Rafael Mendez Brass Institute (2022) and Kendall Betts Horn Camp (2023) and will be traveling to Ede, Netherlands, to participate in the Cortona New Music Sessions as a composition fellow this summer. He hopes to be a driving force as a composer and performer, sharing his love of music everywhere he goes.
