This recital is presented as a requirement towards a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance.

Violinist Emma Northcutt is a leader in Bay Area musical communities. She held principal positions in the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra and attended Pre-College at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, as well as chamber music workshops at the Crowden School. She studies with Ann Miller at the University of the Pacific, where she is concertmaster of the University Symphony Orchestra and a member of the 28/78 New Music Ensemble. She cofounded the A String Quartet and serves as treasurer for Pacific’s student-run chamber orchestra. A member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, she regularly appears in Davies Symphony Hall. music.pacific.edu
