This recital is presented as a requirement for the Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance.

Described as “passionate” and “dedicated” by her colleagues, clarinetist and composer Vanessa Lopez ventures into the realms of both playing and creating music. Primarily focused on ensemble playing, she has performed in various ensembles, including the Univeristy of the Pacific’s University Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, the California Youth Symphony, and multiple chamber groups. Vanessa studies clarinet at the University of the Pacific as a performance major under Patricia Shands. She will obtain her undergraduate degree in the spring of 2024. music.pacific.edu
