SAMFENDER
Shares New Track Ahead of Seventeen Going Under Live Deluxe Edition Release
Sam Fender is pleased to share a new track It is the first of two new songs included on the forthcoming deluxe edition release of Seventeen Going Under on 9th December through Polydor Records
Wild Grey Ocean is streaming now, and was recorded during the original album sessions, held back for future release. Similarly to much of the material on the record, it's a track that reflects moments and memories of Sam's teenage years; Personal ruminations punctured by his distinctive guitar motif.
"Seventeen Going Under Live Deluxe Edition" and "Live From Finsbury Park" are both released on 9th December
Seventeen Going Under was originally released on 8th October 2021 It debuted at number 1 in the UK on a wave of critical acclaim, and set up a tremendous twelve months for one of Britain's best songwriters, winning Sam a second BRIT Award for Best Rock/Alternative Act, two NME Awards, a prestigious Ivor Novello Award for songwriting, and Sam's first Mercury Prize nomination.
In June 2023, Sam headlines two nights at the 55,000+ capacity St James' Park in Newcastle Both shows sold out instantly New dates in Belfast and Dublin are also on sale now for next Summer
"Live From Finsbury Park" captures Sam's scintillating sell out performance in front of 45,000 fans earlier this Summer in London. As Sam's biggest headline show to date, and straight off the back of his show stealing performance at Glastonbury Festival, the Finsbury Park show paid testament to an incredible twelve months for an artist whose rise has been meteoric.
The album will be released as a standalone double coloured vinyl It will also feature on a "Live Deluxe Edition" of Seventeen Going Under on double CD, including the B sides and two new tracks
Fans can pre-order the Finsbury Park vinyl or Live Deluxe Edition of Seventeen Going Under on CD here -

Prior to the tour, in January 2023, the band are set to release a brand new, re recorded version of album track "Heartbreaker" Always a favourite of the band, 2021 and 2022 saw crowds (both those to see Dirty Honey and those seeing the band as a support or at a festival) gave the track a life of its own audiences across North America and Europe singing the song to the extent they often drowned out the band For a band fresh to Europe it provided a hairs on the back of your neck moment, and the band realised that they needed to rerecord a fresh version of the track that showcased the live performance "Heartbreaker 2 0" is infused with the live energy the band have fed on throughout 2022 The track was produced, recorded and mixed in late 2022 by Al Sutton, Marlon Young and Herschel Boone @ Rustbelt Studios in the Motor City.
"Some songs really come to life after they've been performed a bunch of times You can really see an audience react to a line being sung a certain way or a riff grooving that you didn't think of while recording in the studio. Over time we realized the song took on a new life on the road in both North America and Europe and we wanted to capture that energy " Marc Labelle, vocalist of Dirty Honey, talking about Heartbreaker 2 0
Whilst harking back to the band's influences, their 14 track debut release in Europe "Dirty Honey EP / LP", is at the same time a completely fresh, contemporary sounding record. From the dirty groove of LP opener "California Dreamin'" to the laid back melodic beauty of EP track "Down The Road", from the driving "Gypsy" (LP) to the riffs and infectious chorus of "Heartbreaker" (EP), this is a stunning collection of groove laden rock songs The band's first single from the album was "When I'm Gone". With a performance based video HERE, the song was the first ever track from an unsigned band to reach No 1 spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart

Dates For March/April 2023
Added straight onto the BBC Radio 6 Music playlist upon its release, the elegantly constructed new single 'Don't Say It's Over' follows a swirling, art rock groove as Gaz recalls the heady first night he met his future wife. It's a first glimpse of a record seven years in the making. A record of feeling, an album that captures the ups and downs of modern life and all the small print in between.
Written and recorded in his gloriously ramshackle Oxfordshire outhouse Studio, Gaz has emerged with the best work of his illustrious career. It's an album that both taps into the sonic palettes and lyrical themes of its predecessors and marks the third and final part of a trilogy of records alongside 2015's Mercury and Ivor Novello nominated sophomore album Matador and 2018's World's Strongest Man
At the same time, it carves a bold new way forwards "There's a lot of subject matter in there that I've played with and maybe not managed to see through in the past. I've evolved", Gaz adds.
Ahead of the release of his forthcoming solo album 'Turn The Car Around', due January 13th 2023 via Hot Fruit Recordings / Virgin Music, Gaz Coombes has announced headline tour dates across the UK and Europe beginning in March 2023 The dates will see Gaz performing with his extended live band, Garo Nahoulakian, Nick Fowler, Piney Gir and vocal trio The Roxys (a nickname given to them by Nile Rodgers when they shared the bill at a Later with Jools show), all of whom feature as guest musicians on 'Turn The Car Around'.
Tickets will be general sale from Friday 11th November at 9am GMT here. Fans who pre order the album from the official Gaz Coombes online store here will receive eligibility to access a ticket presale beginning Wednesday 9th November at 9am GMT.
The news comes amidst a wave of live activity around the release of 'Turn The Car Around' This week Gaz performed a sold out show at London's intimate Lafayette to debut music from the new album, a first taste of the masterfully written and recorded songs contained within, and a timely reminder of why Coombes remains one of the UK's most enduring and gifted songwriters. Looking ahead to January, Gaz will perform a run of special album release shows at record shops across the UK.
With additional instrumentation from members of Gaz's live band, Garo Nahoulakian, Nick Fowler, Piney Gir and The Roxys, the album also features cameo performances courtesy of Willie J Healey and Ride's Loz Colbert, with Gaz sharing co production duties with long term collaborator Ian Davenport.
Following a rapturously received stint back fronting his iconic group Supergrass, the acclaimed live reunion ended on September 3rd with the band's final ever appearance at Wembley Stadium with their emotionally charged set at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert The show, attended by 90,000 fans paying tribute to the late Foo Fighters drummer also saw Gaz appear on stage with Nile Rodgers for a cover of Bowie's 'Modern Love' before joining Stuart Copeland for a cover of The Police's 'Every Little Thing She Does is Magic'.
Ahead of those final summer Supergrass shows, April of this year also saw Gaz remind fans of his imminent return to his main job as a solo artist with a short run of underplay acoustic performances, including a packed Lexington show in North London The shows gave fans a chance to hear Coombes road test new solo material from 'Turn The Car Around' including an adoringly received former single 'Sonny The Strong', another BBC 6 Music A listed record upon its June release
CHASING KITES
Bath-based indie-rock four-piece Chasing Kites return with their fourth single 'Shiver' on November 11th 2022.
Starting life in 2016 as the solo project of vocalist Matt Donnelly, Chasing Kites arrived at their full and final lineup in June of 2022, thanks to a series of 'Band Members Wanted' advertisements and the miracles of social media. The band have since gone on to be chosen as BBC Bristol's 'Big New Sound' in July with the release of single 'Slide'.
With echoes of Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Verve and The 1975, the band intertwine dynamic hooks, 80s synth textures and vivid narratives, capturing reflections on the stories of Donnelly's youth.
Their latest single Shiver, recorded with Sam Winfield (Amber Run, Bring Me The Horizon) at Studio 91, lyrically explores the feelings of frustration and heartbreak at play when looking in on a loved one's dysfunctional relationship.
Speaking about the writing process, vocalist and lyricist Matt Donnelly explains, ''Shiver came together extremely quickly. I'd had the lyrics lying around for a very long time and felt they fit perfectly with the sonic side of the track when the melody was written. As we built on the skeleton of the song, our aim was to take us back into the realms of indie rock through powerful injections of energy in the choruses, while maintaining our commercial sound throughout.''
It was a cold, dark November night in Newcastle upon Tyne, and the normally bustling streets were almost eerily quiet. How can this be? What could have happened to bring the city to a standstill? Well, it just so happens that our intrepid reporter knows the answer. Rock heavy rock, to be precise.
New Jersey rock legends Skid Row brought their Gangs All Here tour to Northumbria Uni with support from British rockers Collateral and another iconic band of the rock genre, ENUFF'Z NUFF.
The venue was packed to the rafters with fans of all ages eager to hear their favourite songs alongside some brand new tracks from their new album and the tour's namesake, 'The Gangs
LIVE REVIEW -
1ST OF NOVEMBER 2022
Taking to the stage first, Kent based rock band Collateral played a stunning six song set, including ‘Mr.Big Shot’, which the singer Angelo had emblazoned on the back of his denim jacket, and their recent single ‘Sin In The City’. The guys gave a fantastic performance, and they definitely gained some new fans in Newcastle. I would recommend catching a Collateral gig if you ever get the chance.
A short while later, the stage was graced by rock legends Enuff Z’Nuff. Chip and the Gang kicked off their set with a cover of the Beatles classic ‘Magical Mystery Tour’. Their set included another Beatles song, ‘Eleanor Rigby’ as well as the Wings hit ‘Jet’ The band really seemed to enjoy themselves, with Chip at one point placing his guitar around a security guard for a photo opportunity with grins all around. ‘Flying High Michelle’, ‘New Thing’, ‘Baby Loves You’
and ‘Kiss The Clown’ all made for a well rounded set that was well received by the Newcastle crowd. It isn’t hard to see why Enuff Z’Nuff have survived the test of time, albeit with a few lineup changes. The current lineup includes Chip Z’Nuff, former Ultravox member Tony Fennell, Tory Stoffregen, and drummer Daniel B. Hill. Good, honest rock music and a zest for live performances and connecting with the audience have ensured their longevity, and long may they continue to rock our socks off.
The excitement was building, and you could feel it in the air. The atmosphere was buzzing as the time for Skid Row drew ever closer. As the sirens wailed out, Rob Hammersmith took his place behind the drum kit and started the show with the drum intro to ‘Slave To The Grind’ as the rest of the band made their way to the stage.
Rachel Bolan, Scotti Hill, and new vocalist Erik Grönwall were joined by a crew member in place of Dave "The Snake" Sabo, who sadly could not play due to COVID. Although it's not the same as seeing the legendary Snake do his thing, his replacement did an awesome job and definitely helped make the show a success.
he band is currently promoting their sixth studio album, ‘The Gangs All Here’ and the gang was most definitely present. The vocal ability and volume of the crowd were matched by the enthusiastic performance given by the band, who are showing no signs of taking it easy. Rachel Bolan and Scotti Hill were full of energy and clearly masters of the stage. Rob Hammersmith performance on the skins was impeccable, hard hitting, and full of energy.
Erik Grönwall is relatively new to the band, and there is always that worry about whether or not a new vocalist can live up to the expectations of the fans. Within seconds of picking up the microphone, those worries were well and truly put to rest. Erik has the power and vocal range to rival any singer, and his voice is perfect for Skid Row’s back catalogue.
Vocal performance aside, his stage presence is all encompassing. He has the attitude and style of a rock star, with a cheeky grin that occasionally flashes across his face and says, ‘I’m loving this as much as you are’ which endears him to the fans with ease.
I like to think that rock bands are a bit like Dr. Who: each generation of fans has a different Doctor, but they all share a love of the series. In this case, each generation of Skid Row fans may have a different vocalist as ‘their’ vocalist, but they all share a love of the music regardless.
The set was a mixture of old time classics including ’18 and Life’, ‘Monkey Business’, ‘I Remember You’ and of course ‘Youth Gone Wild’ which was the final track of the night Intertwined with the hits were newer tracks from the new album, ‘Tear It Down’, ‘Time Bomb’ and ‘The Gangs All Here’. The entire show was fifteen glorious songs that scratched that itch for some feel good heavy rock. With inflatable balls and confetti making for a true rock show style ending, Skid Row rocked Newcastle and gave the fans exactly what they wanted and needed.
As the show ended and the crowd left to go on with their everyday lives, each and every person who was in Newcastle for Skid Row on the 1st of November 2022 can say they are part of the gang. The album is available to stream wherever you stream your music, with physical copies available from www.skidrow.com
Masters of anthemic rock 'n' roll Black Star Riders are excited to announce the release of the new single Crazy Horses, which is taken form the new record: Wrong Side Of Paradise, out on 20th January via Earache.
Crazy Horses is Black Star Riders reinterpretation of The Osmonds classic. The band is able to infuse the track with their unique sound and an energetic and relentless attitude.
Front-man Ricky Warwick comments: "I remember watching The Osmonds performing this song on television in the early seventies as a young kid. I fell in love with it then and was patiently waiting for the opportunity to cover it. Thankfully my brothers in BSR shared the same adoration for the tune. So... The time is now and here it is!"
Wrong Side Of Paradise features 11 tracks, it was recorded in the Autumn of 2021 at Studio 606 in Northridge California and Toochtoon Sound in Redmond Oregon with producer and longtime BSR associate, Jay Ruston.
About the album Ricky adds: "I am very proud of this record, Black Star Riders' fifth release and the first with our new and exciting relationship with Earache Records. As with all BSR albums, 'Wrong Side Of Paradise' is an anthemic statement of intent, driven by ferocious guitars and thundering drums. I can only write about my own personal experiences, my families, my friends and how I see a world that is unraveling and changing faster than we can comprehend. That being said, I'm a firm believer in the power of positivity, something that echoes throughout this album"
In addition to the new record, Black Star Riders will embark on their 10th Anniversary tour, starting from 13th February 2023.
Ricky Warwick further comments: "Can you believe 2023 is 10 years of Black Star Riders? ... How time flies while you are having fun! We decided to do something special to commemorate this occasion. For the UK tour only, to coincide with the album's release, we will be bringing back the legendary Scott Gorham (guitar) and Jimmy DeGrasso (drums) for the dates to make them extra special!"

EDEN HUNTER
“YOU DON’T HAVE TO SAVE THE WORLD”
Ahead of her sold-out headline show at Colours in London’s Hoxton, British pop princess in-the-making Eden Hunter makes a stunning return to the scene with the empowering “You Don’t Have to Save the World.”
Smoothly fusing synthpop elements with a chic pop rock edge, “You Don’t Have to Save the World” takes shape as a much needed prompt to stay grounded in today’s fast paced world. “You don’t have to save the world… babe it’s hard enough being alive,” Hunter reminds us with encouraging vocals, belted across a bed of fast paced indie drums and stylish guitar strums during the effortlessly catchy chorus.
Eden Hunter made the following statement about the single: “This song came at a time where I was particularly struggling to keep my head above water. In today’s inescapable world of social media, it can sometimes feel like others seem to be doing much better than you are and comparing yourself to their highlights feels inevitable. I think when you have such high expectations of yourself and your life, you forget to acknowledge the progress you have made; it can be easy to forget that the smallest of things can be our own achievement.”
“You Don’t Have to Save the World” comes after a recent, eventful trip to LA, where Hunter made her live debut at the buzzy Breaking Sounds showcase and found herself connecting with heavyweight industry names like Troye Sivan and esteemed songwriter JHart. The release also follows Hunter’s fresh announcement as the support artist for Anna of the North’s upcoming Lafayette show, and comes off the back of Hunter’s well received, introspective synth anthem “Twenty.” which landed her first New Music Friday spot with Spotify, as well as radio support from BBC Radio 1’s Jess Iszatt.
EDEN HUNTER
Making a triple debut at the tail end of 2021 with her trilogy of singles – “Weightless”, “Chance My Heart” and “All My Love” Hunter’s ‘pop princess’ bops have been championed by international tastemakers including Wonderland, GAY TIMES, Notion, Popjustice, ENFNTS TERRIBLES, Beyond the Stage, Mercury Magazine, Equate Magazine, The Honey Pop, Australia’s Amnplify and Belgium’s Dansende Beren; alongside growing radio support from the likes of BBC Introducing, Hoxton Radio and Gorgeous Radio.
Nurturing a growing yet loyal following with 70K+ streams now to her name, Hunter has amassed an impressive touring portfolio in recent times, embarking on support shows for major names like Tom Grennan, Ella Eyre, Thomas Headon, push baby, James Smith and Seeva while also gracing the stage at highprofile venues like Mighty Hoopla Festival and The Ned. Hunter continues proving her own selling power with sold out headline shows across the UK including London’s Bush Hall, O2 Academy Islington and The Half-Moon.
Incorporating an androgynous, lightly camp style into her work, the queer artist's fan base continues to grow with every performance and self acceptance anthem.
Still only at the start of her career but with weighty co signs continuing to pour in, Eden Hunter is already proving herself as a force to be reckoned with; consistently delivering pop bops with substance, Hunter has plenty more planned for 2023.
ELEANOR COLLIDES
‘Del Ray Sunshine’, is the brand new single from London based singer songwriter Nick Ranga, AKA Eleanor Collides. Named after Nick’s imaginary childhood friend, Eleanor Collides started as a lockdown project and has blossomed into something quite special.
Following on from previous releases ‘Candle Glow’ and ‘Lifeboats’, the UK indie rocker has created a very different sounding record from the songs' predecessors, with Nick’s rather laid back vocals layered over a hard hitting drum beat and satisfying bass line that holds the track together, while the guitar and acoustic guitar are an absolute delight. The track evokes thoughts of lying back in a field somewhere in the hazy summer sun and just enjoying the moment.
‘Del Ray Sunshine’ is more upbeat than Eleanor Collides’ previous tracks and definitely has the feel good factor. One to add to your playlists for sure. An intriguing project from a very talented performer, Eleanor Collides is one to watch.
Nick is not afraid to experiment with different styles and sounds and proves that the UK music scene is just as vibrant and creative as it ever has been.
‘Del Ray Sunshine’ is available to stream from 18th of November, check out this link: https://withkoji.com/@eleanorcollides

ANNOUNCE RELEASE OF 25TH STUDIO ALBUM "CHAOS & COLOUR"
British hard rock legends and progenators Uriah Heep announce the release of their 25th studio album, Chaos & Colour, set for release January 27th, 2023 via Silver Lining Music Pre orders available from November 8th on this site
Watch the video and listen to the first single, the buoyant and blistering "Save Me Tonight", at this location (video by Natalia Jonderko Śmiechowicz).
"Save Me Tonight" is another powerful melodic rock track which we have chosen to be the first single as well as the opening track of the album," says Mick Box, Uriah Heep's venerable and effervescent founding member, "it is made for rock radio and will surely be included on our new set list in 2023."
"Save Me Tonight comes from a place of frustration and helplessness" adds co writer and bass player Rimmer, "living through these unprecedented past couple of years but hanging on to this raging hope that we would all meet again! Once again, collaborating with Jeff Scott Soto has been a natural and very creative experience and the perfect platform for me to express these feelings and to carry on the Heep legacy."
Chaos & Colour is an album which bristles with explosive classic rock guitars, supreme harmonies, and Heep's famously generous keyboard foundation. It is, unsurprisingly, an album that found its extra thrust during the COVID 19 pandemic, which was as bizarre for Uriah Heep as it was for humanity in general
"The album title reflects that we were in chaotic times with being locked down, tours being cancelled, businesses folding, and all the chaos that was thrown into the world," explains Box, "and as far as I could see it, the only colour people had was through music. It helped so many people get through those difficult years, using that strength and power which music has, to make those bad times not quite so bad."
There were still the looming spectre of protocols and rules to follow in the middle of 2021, as the world tried to find its feet Heep slowly found their way into Chapel Studios in London during the summer of 2021 as restrictions were tentatively lifted, working once again with Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Corey Taylor, Black Star Riders)
"Jay was completely on board with what we are trying to achieve in the studio," says Box. "We're a band that has a fantastic heritage and to carry on that tradition it was vitally important that the band recorded in the studio all playing at the same time. Jay understood that and he pulled out the best of us as a band, as well as individual players, while getting us some amazing sounds."
Led by Box, it is no surprise that themes of light, love and, ultimately, positivity are constant through the album eleven tracks "One Nation, One Sun" is a journey of soaring balladic contemplation, "Fly Like An Eagle" takes the listener on a journey of meditation, whilst "Closer To Your Dreams" is a battle cry for all rockers to get out there and do it, with Shaw imploring that "So many have tried but slipped away/Now it's time for you to have your say." During the entire album, Bernie Shaw's timeless vocals sit expertly beside the band's phenomenal artistry (Mick Box guitar, Phil Lanzon keyboard, Russell Gilbrook drums, Dave Rimmer bass), rounding out exceptional performances throughout.
Produced by Jay Ruston, and engineered by Pieter Rietkerk, Chaos & Colour is a superb album of quality hard rock from the pioneers of the genre who continue to create top class material Old fans will be reinvigorated whilst new fans will surely find Chaos & Colour an exceptional discovery
Following the intense disruption to live music caused by the pandemic, the band are ecstatic to be back on the road and continue to bring their live show across Europe this winter. For a full list of confirmed dates, tickets, and additional information visit uriah heep.com

Melbourne, Australia based folk pop singer songwriter, Karen Harding released declarative single ‘Strong For You’ Friday 11th November 2022.
“I love that ’Strong For You’ holds layers of meaning.. The song can be translated as a declaration of love and a promise to be there with someone special, through the hard times.. to say you’ll be there through thick and thin. I have been going through a period of a lot of self exploration.. For me, this song was born out of a desire to be there for the aspects of myself that I have previously rejected or disliked to accept and to carry them through difficult feelings and emotions, even when it’s not comfortable to do so It’s a song of healing ” Karen Harding Produced by P&M Records in Argentina, ‘Strong For You’sets a scene of curiosity and mystery, played in a minor key, with the simplicity of the heartfelt tinkling of piano keys and then introduces a layer of fingerpicked guitar. As Karen Harding’s alluring vocals begin, you are immediately drawn into a melancholic story that leads the listener from a sense of heartbreak, to a build up of hope and promise.
“This track was the first of a series to come, where I had the opportunity to work with the incredible family that makes up P&M Records in Argentina. We connected over Instagram and it was the beginning of a beautiful journey of discovering new sounds and new ways of creating I am so grateful for the opportunity and look forward to sharing all that is to come” Karen Harding Karen Harding is a Melbourne, Australia based folk/pop singer songwriter with a passion for sharing a relatable expression of human emotion and inner experience within her music. For Karen, music is a soul conversation, that allows the masks that we hide behind to fall away for a moment of sharing.. a moment of mutual understanding in a language that does not discriminate in any form. Likened to the sounds of Eva Cassidy, Sarah McLachlan and Karen Carpenter, Karen Harding’s music features alluring and ethereal vocals at the forefront, complimented by an instrumental soundscape that will send you soaring within a dreamland of imagination

TIME ZERO
Presents a diverse musical panorama on the new album "New World"
The French quartet TIME ZERO was formed in 2011 with the ambition to focus on their own creations. On voice and guitar, Dominique, and Yannik, on drums, support the next generation, in this case their sons Raphaël and Yann, guitarist and bassist.
A family story that creates a magical osmosis. Since their debuts, Yannik and Dominique have shared musical experiences in various groups such as the Marshall Band (which opened for Little Bob Story and the Dogs) or Dame Scarlett. Raphaël is also a member of the electro-pop combo Mirage Club.
Although they regularly perform live locally, it is in their studio that the members of TIME Zero have been fully dedicated in recent years to refining the best versions of their songs, and offering, with this 1st album – New World, 10 tracks with intricate patterns that give texture and cohesion to the work.
TIME Zero fully embraces its English influences and offers its pop/rock vision full of emotion and creativity.
"New World" was recorded in 3 sessions at Le Cerisier studio in Toulouse. Between hard rock (Flowing Down/ Got to Know/Heaven/Loving to Hate), melodic pop (Better Days/Abroad/New World) and atmospheric ballads (Believe/Money and Screens), the music scene is rich, diverse, easy to listen and addictive.
SCREAMING BONES
"
And it'll all be good" is the most recent release of Mike's project Screaming Bones, taking the listener even further into the rabbit hole of psychedelic soundscapes, sweet hypnotic flute tones and heavy guitar riffs.
The album has been developed throughout the year and has now been released on all the major streaming services as well as Screaming Bones' Bandcamp site https://screamingbones.bandcamp.com/music
The album is the result of endless sound experiments, digging into the very nature of sound creation, sound enrichment and sound sculpturing The album features classic guitar dominated tracks such as 'Ghost Ride' or 'Leave me alone'.
But it also takes guitar sounds to a different level when sounds are repeated endlessly while being warped and twisted in crazy delay lines and dystopic reverbs as can be heard in tracks like 'Dragonfly' or 'Hive Song'. While most of the sounds are created using a guitar or bass, some of the sonic canvasses borrow equipment from Mike's side project 'Bones:Dreaming'. Tracks like 'Raindrops' or 'Early Morning Brain Chaos' throw warped sound waves into the mix, some random, some in an orderly fashion, competing with Mike's guitars.
The tracks on 'And it'll all be good' don't have a common theme However, each of their musical seeds has been born in a dream like state and some of them have grown to sonic monsters that had to be tamed to create repeating patterns and themes that take the listener onto a musical journey they have not taken before 'And it'll all be good' is not an album to listen to in the background It demands your time and your concentration, it asks for your brain and your soul to listen to it The tracks on it want to be discovered, they want to be absorbed, they want to grow into the listener's ears. The music on this album is a hidden gem, a flower, a tree that grows a bit more every time you listen to it. What seems like random chaos at first becomes a warped melody of an unreal beauty
Screaming Bones' music exists to fill your headspace It will take you on an endless journey if you are willing to let yourself immerse into the music. The music will touch something deep inside you when you listen to it and let it unfold.

COASTAL FIRE DEPT.
COASTAL FIRE DEPT.
ARE BACK WITH AN EXPLOSIVE COVER VERSION!
www.coastalfiredept.com twitter.com/CoastalFireDept facebook.com/CoastalFireDept instagram.com/coastalfiredept
Acclaimed UK post-grunge crew COASTAL FIRE DEPT. have just released an astounding reworking of the Pixies’ classic, Gouge Away, out now via L’islet Records.
Born in 2013 and hailing from Guernsey, COASTAL FIRE DEPT. feature guitarist and vocalist Ollie Goddard, bassist Saad Frihmat, and Ozzy Austin on drums. Possessing an arsenal of premium releases comprised of 2019’s debut mini album, Control, 2020’s much lauded, Radio EP, last year’s first fully fledged album, Connected, and their standalone single, You’re Stuck, where the band joined forces with Ken Andrews (Failure, Stone Temple Pilots, Chris Cornell), COASTAL FIRE DEPT. have a unique quality to deliver constant releases and at a hugely productive rate. Keen to keep evolving, the latter half of 2021 prompted a move towards a harder guitar driven vibe. It also saw the band record with Kellii Scott (Failure, QOTSA, Veruca Salt & more) on drums.
Their singles, ‘Gun’, ‘Loner’ and ‘What Do I’ were released to unbridled praise, racking up widespread global radio play and press coverage, which included strong support from Kerrang! Radio. The threesome kick on again with their powerful cover version of Gouge Away. Ollie (guitarist and vocalist) remarks: “‘Gouge Away’ is a cover of the Pixies’ classic track. Often compared to the Pixies, we pay homage by putting our spin on the song that tells the story of Samson & Delilah. It’s recorded a little quicker than the original with added dynamics. We are proud of it; it’s an upbeat version with big choruses and a new almighty ending.” Further singles will follow in 2023, along with the band’s much awaited sophomore full length album, out this Spring.
AMERICAN LIPS
Los Angeles / Montreal's American Lips Release New
Los Angeles and Montreal based trio, American Lips, have just announced the release of their latest 3 song maxi single Waste of Crime on Ancient Fashion Records. American Lips features Death From Above 1979 drummer Sebastien Grainger and prolific producer Adrian Popovich, also known for his time in legendary Canadian rock act Tricky Woo
In explaining their newest offering the bands' latest one sheet asks you to ponder, "Ever wondered what it would sound like if The Art Of Noise produced a Plastic Bertrand record?" To clear up that question Popovich explains, "I spent a good chunk of 1988 listening to the Colors OST and the"Kiss"cassingle by The Art Of Noise and Tom Jones This older kid Rob on my street who was into punk rock said "the Colors soundtrack is pretty cool but that Art Of Noise song is garbage!" As a nine year old, I'd yet to be called out on my questionable musical tastes. Rob made me a mixtape with songs by The Ramones, Misfits, Motorhead, The Buzzcocks and a bunch of other essentials. I'd never heard any punk music before and the impact it had on me was huge. Ffwd to 2022, when Sebastien unilaterally decided to add Fairlight sample horn arrangements to two new American Lips songs, the simultaneous feelings of glorious discovery and deep shame I felt in 1988 came flooding back"
Inspired by Wax Trax! Records, Shep Pettibone, Art Of Noise, and a hot cut from The Ghostbusters OST, American Lips shed the punky garage wave of their 2017 debut LP "KissThe Void," and take a hard drive dumpster dive, emerging with a kind of "sample bank pop" at once danceable, but stylistically hard to pin down (don't call it dance punk!) Double A sides "Waste Of Crime" and "Labor Of Hate" are backed by extended dub remix "Labor Of Dub " Fans of mid 80s Cabaret Voltaire, Ghostbusters OST, Decadent Dub Team, Rocket From The Crypt and Plastic Bertrand will rejoice in the exquisite peppering of influences in these new compositions
Named after an Alice Donut song, American Lips formed in 2016 after drummer Sebastien Grainger (of Death From Above 1979) heard home demos that singer/guitarist Adrian Popovich (FRVITS, Tricky Woo) had been working on with bassist/vocalist Jessica Bruzzese. The band quickly went into the studio to record their debut LP "Kiss The Void," released in 2017 on Sebastien and Adrian's newly minted Ancient Fashion Records label. All of their material has been recorded by Popovich at his Montreal studio, where he has produced records by notable bands like Duchess Says, Solids, The Dears and Sam Roberts Band. The band has since been stockpiling recordings, with a series of new and archival releases planned for 2023
POLLYANNA BLUE
Bristol based alt rock two piece Pollyanna Blue are pleased to reveal their latest single 'Haunted' Formed in the summer of 2019 by Zoe Collins (guitar and vocals) and Rich Earle (bass and vocals), the duo released their debut single Saviour during 2020's lockdown, being forced to utilise the digital age to share song ideas online before being able to get together in a room to piece them together.
The band's name was inspired by a self help book 'Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway', which talks about a nickname 'Pollyanna', typically given to a person who is deemed overtly optimistic. That ethos, combined with their ability to connect with the more difficult waves of emotions life throws at you, comes together to form the overall 90's / 00's alt rock band vibe that they strive for; powerful and painful.
Their latest single Haunted, taken from their upcoming EP due in 2023, was one of the first songs Zoe had written before starting her Masters in Songwriting and Production in 2017 Feeling like it didn't have the life in it that she'd anticipated, she took the song to Rich who helped break the song down to its bare bones and fleshed it out with a raw, heavier sonic and darker influence.
Recorded by Ash Scott (Memorist, Harper), Haunted is a tormenting track that lyrically explores processing and mentally fighting against anguish and the pressures of repetitive situations.
Speaking of the inspiration for the song, lyricist and vocalist Zoe Collins says, "In this song trauma is depicted as an unforgiving evil spirit that will come at you at night and relentlessly try to tear you down. The impactful delivery of the lyrics harnesses the real range of emotions of someone experiencing immense feelings of emptiness, sadness and anger. The lyric 'like a headache' depicts the side effects of dealing with large and repetitive amounts of trauma and stress to the brain, painting an unpleasant experience for the person being Haunted by their own predicament "
A music video for the track was released on Halloween (October 31st), directed, filmed and edited by Kieran Gallop (Phoxjaw, Sleep Token) reflecting the lyrical themes of the track.
