Benedicta es tu, Virgo Maria, a Domino Deo excelso prae omnibus mulieribus super terram. Ave dulcissima Maria, vera spes et vita, dulce refrigerium; O Maria, flos virginum, ora pro nobis Jesum.
Tu gloria Jerusalem, tu laetitia Israel, tu honorificentia populi nostri. Alleluia.
Blessed are you, O Virgin Mary, by the Lord God most high, above all women, above earth. Hail, O sweetest Mary, true hope and life, sweet refreshment; O Mary, flower of all virgins, pray for us to Jesus.

You are the glory of Jerusalem; you are the joy of Israel. You are the honour of our people. Alleluia.
