Rudolf de Beer is an accomplished musician with expertise as a conductor, composer, researcher, and lecturer. He holds a Master’s degree and a Doctor of Music (DMus).
Throughout his career, de Beer has held prominent academic positions in choral conducting and music pedagogy. His conducting experience spans a wide range of choirs, from children’s choirs to semi-professional adult ensembles, and includes collaborations with several regional and national orchestras.
An active member of the international choral community, he has served on the boards of various choral organisations and received recognition for his contributions to the field.
Now based in Norway, de Beer continues to build a distinguished career as a choral conductor, working with diverse ensembles and orchestras. His strong foundation in composition further enriches his artistic practice, having studied composition throughout his academic journey.
