The new Fall/Winter 2014-15 collection captures the most current inspirations from the natural world, architectural and tailoring virtuosities, artistic trends, futuristic and past styles, transforming them into bright, suggestive and versatile objects thanks to the use of state-of-the-art materials and an outstanding craftsmanship in assembling elements that generate a luxuriously figurative landscape.
La nuova collezione Autunno/Inverno 2014-2015 cattura gli stimoli più attuali, attingendo al mondo naturale, ai virtuosismi architettonici e sartoriali, alle tendenze artistiche, agli stili futuribili e di memoria, e li trasforma in oggetti luminosi, suggestivi e versatili, grazie all’impiego di materiali di nuova generazione e a una speciale abilità manuale nell’assemblare elementi che si compongono dando vita a un lussureggiante panorama figurativo.
Noteworthy are the similarities with the varied world of haute couture, such as in the new Gemmy Prisma (Spalletta, Croce, Ragnisco, Wijffels) and in the Veli Table and Clizia Table collections by the designer Adriano Rachele, who crafts lamps creating overlaps, joints, drapery folds, curves and engravings to give form to highly decorative three-dimensional volumes.
Notevoli sono le analogie con il variegato mondo della haute couture, come nelle nuove Gemmy Prisma (Spalletta, Croce, Ragnisco, Wijffels) e in Veli Table e Clizia Table di Adriano Rachele, il designer che crea lampade realizzando sovrapposizioni, incastri, panneggi, pieghe e intagli per dare forma a volumi tridimensionali altamente decorativi.
Nuances of Baroque origin for the new Liza collection (designed by Elisa Giovannoni) and for the suspension lamps Lillibet Gold, Copper e Silver (designed by Nigel Coates), which have a hybrid character, balanced between the future and the past, that illuminate classic architecture with a flash of modernity, and vice versa, donate a hint of historical heritage to ultramodern ambiences.
Suggestioni di matrice barocca per la nuova collezione Liza (design di Elisa Giovannoni) e per le sospensioni Lillibet Gold, Copper e Silver (di Nigel Coates), lampade dal carattere ibrido, sul crinale tra futuro e memoria, che illuminano con un lampo di modernità un’architettura classica o, viceversa, regalano un accento di storicità ad ambienti supermoderni.
Analogies to the floral world are predominant in the new Flora Gold, Silver e Copper (designed by Zanini de Zanine) and in the Fiorella and Fiorellina (designed by Nigel Coates) lamp collections that, thanks to their fresh figurative representation, can be placed in both public and domestic settings, furnished with the most diverse styles. Slamp dresses the light to fit everywhere: suspended, on the floor, a wall, a table, a bedside table, but also placed on the ground, in a corner or the centre of the room, like a totem.
Il riferimento al mondo floreale è dominante nella nuova collezione Flora Gold, Silver e Copper (design di Zanini de Zanine) e in Fiorella e Fiorellina (di Nigel Coates), lampade che, con il loro fresco figurativismo, riescono a trovare collocazione in interior sia pubblici che domestici caratterizzati dagli stili più vari. Slamp veste la luce perché si adatti ovunque: sospesa, da terra, da parete, da tavolo, da comodino, ma anche posata sul pavimento, in un angolo, o a centro stanza, come un totem.

Sixty metallic petals surround the bright satin diffuser, inspired by a flower bud just opened. Flora Gold, Silver and Copper, are also available in a floor version with thin props similar to stems, that generate sophisticated blazes of light in a game of reflections, copying the effects of the sun at its zenith over a field of ripe wheat. Sessanta petali metallizzati avvolgono il diffusore luminoso satinato modellando un boccio appena dischiuso. Flora Gold, Silver e Copper, disponibili anche in versione da terra dotate di sottili sostegni simili a steli, generano bagliori sofisticati in un gioco di riflessioni rubato all’effetto del sole allo zenith su un campo di grano maturo.

This iconic chandelier with crystals, which seems to come from one of Louis XXIV of France’s palaces, combines, in the newer metallic versions, the charm of recollection with an unexpected image of lightness. With its hybrid nature it adapts to illuminating classic architecture with a dash of modernism, and donates a touch of history to super modern surroundings. FIORELLA gold, silver and copper

Similar to a small ruffled bush of boxwood, Fiorella and Fiorellina are enriched by the magic of fine chiselling in gold, silver and copper that appear made by the Renaissance forge of Benvenuto Cellini. They are an effective design solution thanks to the multiple reflections of the petals that surround the light source, and to their fresh figuration. Simili a un piccolo cespuglio arruffato di bosso, Fiorella e Fiorellina si arricchiscono della magia di fini ceselli in oro, argento e rame che sembrano usciti dalla fucina rinascimentale di Benvenuto Cellini. Grazie alle multiple riflessioni dei petali che avvolgono la fonte luminosa, con il loro fresco figurativismo sono un’efficace soluzione d’arredo.

Inspired by the classic design of crystal lamp shades, Liza combines a modern and functional design with subtle Baroque evocations. The cap and stem, connected by a ring in moulded polycarbonate, are made of Lentiflex速 with subtle vertical cuts to display dancing lights and shadows. The base is transformed into a light source thanks to a courtesy LED placed inside. Ispirata al design delle classiche abatjour in cristallo, Liza unisce un disegno moderno e funzionale a tenui evocazioni barocche. Il cappello e lo stelo, raccordati da un anello in policarbonato stampato, sono realizzati in Lentiflex速 con dei sottili tagli verticali per proiettare giochi di luce e ombre. La base si trasforma in fonte di luce grazie a un LED di cortesia disposto al suo interno.

The collection extends from MINI to LARGE versions, including a tabletop version made up of 230 squares of Lentiflex® and supported by a coloured base: fresh, versatile and charming. Frutto di mani operose che modellano l’Opalflex® come fosse seta, Clizia evoca nel nome la storia della mitologica ninfa che, ripudiata dal Sole, si trasforma in Elitropio. La gamma si estende con le versioni MINI e LARGE, a cui si aggiunge la versione da tavolo composta da 230 quadrati di Lentiflex® e sostenuta da una base colorata: fresca, versatile e suggestiva.

Originating from a system of 276 joints that meet specific composition requirements, Veli Mini Table recalls the varied world of haute couture, where folds, drapes and carved shapes give life to highly decorative three-dimensional volumes. The sinuous nervations in relief that make up the surface of Opalflex® are decorated with delicately coloured shadings. Originando da un sistema di 276 incastri che risponde a precise regole compositive, Veli Table ricorda il variegato mondo dell’haute couture in cui con pieghe, panneggi e intagli si dà forma a volumi tridimensionali altamente decorativi. Le sinuose nervature a rilievo che compongono la superficie di Opalflex® sono decorate con una delicata sfumatura colorata.

Inspired by the skirt of a ballerina that sways to the rhythm of a dance, Étoile is a sinuous and sophisticated suspension that uniformly illuminates the room thanks to the LEDs arranged in 3 positions. The crystal water drop emphasises the preciousness of the creation, whose light intensity (5500 lumens) can be varied by dimmers. Ispirata alla gonna di una ballerina che ondeggia seguendo il ritmo di una danza, Étoile è una sospensione sinuosa e sofisticata che illumina uniformemente la stanza grazie alla disposizione dei LED in 3 posizioni. Il cristallo water drop enfatizza la preziosità del prodotto, la cui potenza luminosa (5500 lumen) può essere variata tramite dimmer.

A faceted shape that recalls bold geometric constructions and creates a kaleidoscopic effect that multiplies the coloured reflections of the Lentiflex®. The Gemmy Prisma family is enlarged with a floor version with white base and stem. The Table version is also reedited with a shiny white base: contemporary, versatile and perfect for young and cool settings.
