DOCPITCH 2019 DocPitchers
Presented virtually each year, DocPitch supports documentary filmmakers seeking funds to further their unfinished projects. This year five filmmaking teams have the opportunity to pitch for awards totaling $100,000. Invited funders, organization representatives, distributors, and the general public are invited to submit one vote for their preferred project toward the presentation of the Audience Award. Projects will be announced April 29 at Doclands.com/docpitch with Audience Award voting open April 29 to May 8. One $45,000 Audience Award, plus $55,000 in Jury Awards that includes one major $40,000 award will be decided by a jury of industry professionals, with all awards presented during a live stream on May 11.
