DOCLANDS EDUCATION
The DocLands Education program provides free live and virtual field trips for students around the Bay Area and across the country to attend the 6th annual DocLands Documentary Film Festival.
THE PROGRAM OFFERS: •
In-theater and online documentary film screenings for grades 5-12, with feature and short films curated from the festival program
•
A selection of environmental films presented in tandem with CFI Education’s Environmental Youth Forum, with an emphasis on youth activism
•
Live and pre-recorded Q&As with filmmakers, film subjects, and subject experts
•
Curriculum resources for teachers and students, including lesson plans, discussion guides, and activity and activism toolkits
•
In-person and virtual Filmmakers Go to School visits to classrooms for festival filmmakers from around the world to meet and speak with students in real-time DocLands Education programs are open to school groups only.
