Where are your outfit pieces from? “My sweatshirt is from Ohio State Gear, my jeans are from American Eagle, and my shoes are Converse.”
Why do you like this outfit? “I really enjoy simple outfits like this because they are really easy to throw together and comfy.”

Meghan Baskin As a senior photographer, what trends/styles do you see most during winter shoots? “The trend I see the most during my winter shoots are layers!! They are so much fun to play around with and kind of use as props for the photo, but also have a great function of keeping you warm. Anything like cute jackets and shackets or scarfs and hats, always a good go-to.”
What colors do you think photograph best with an outdoor winter background? “During the winter there’s basically no color outside. Dead grass, bare trees, it’s just kind of dull. So if you’re wanting to really have some photos that pop during the winter, lean towards some color! If you like a softer look, stick to pastels for a really clean photo.”
In general, what is your favorite winter fashion trend? “My favorite winter fashion trend has to be some heeled booties! White, snake skin, leather, etc. I love them all!! You can pretty much wear them with anything and take an outfit to a 10.”
