The interactive lab software allows students to design circuitry, perform tests, and work with electronic equipment as though they were in a real electronics workshop. Training Funds Available For Massachusetts Companies Help your business achieve the next level of success. MWCC offers training anywhere and anytime, including free training needs analyses, and free grant writing assistance to help pay for your training. Specialized assistance is available in banking, bio manufacturing, business, healthcare, and manufacturing. The Workforce Training Fund (WTFP) is a Massachusetts state fund enacted into law in July 1998 and financed entirely by Massachusetts employers. Its purpose is to provide funding resources to Massachusetts businesses and workers to train current and newly hired employees. Here are some general provisions of the program:
• Up to $250,000 is available through WTF grants
• Businesses are eligible if they have paid into the WTF through paying unemployment insurance
• There are three types of WTF grants: HITG (Hiring Incentive Training Grant), Express Grants and General Program Grants
• HITG Grant encourages hiring Massachusetts residents who have been dislocated from the workforce
• Express Grant encourages small companies to quickly and easily access off-the-shelf training.
• Applications can be submitted at any time and have a 5-day decision turn-around
• General Grant encourages employer organizations, labor organizations, training providers, or a consortium of such entities, to train current and newly hired workers.
• General grants announce are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year with decisions being made within 60 days

Medical Device Manufacturing Training Program
This program prepares eligible students for entry level positions as assemblers, operators, inspectors and technicians in the growing field of biomedical device manufacturing. This course includes both hands-on lecture-based material as well as self-paced KeyTrain curriculum leading to National Career Readiness Certification. Students will learn about working in clean room manufacturing in a regulated facility. Training is available at no cost to qualified participants.
