FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK The mission of Orita Sinclair is “To develop our students to be bold and imaginative professionals in the pursuit of their ambitions”. One of the ways to achieve this mission is to inculcate into our students the spirit of “daring to be different”. Our students should not be afraid to challenge existing assumptions and to think out of the box. The world around us is ever evolving, hence we must be ready to acquire new skills and knowledge that will help us move with this change. As such, we are constantly encouraging our students to think innovatively and creatively in their projects and to find new ways of doing things. Our students should not be afraid to pit their ingenuity and skills with the best in Singapore by participating in competitions. This issue of the OS Newsletter highlights some of the significant initiatives, events and activities revolving around the School. I hope that it will give you greater insight to the developments and changes that took place in the school. We will continue to make Orita Sinclair a vibrant and dynamic teaching and learning environment for all. Yours sincerely Foo See Meng
