Play and Learn

Ages: 14 Months-24 Months Tiny Talkers (beginning talkers) is a fun class for children and caregivers to bond and make new connections, all while improving their communication skills! The class will introduce your little one to a social setting through fun activities, games, and music. Each week, we will teach and demonstrate speech strategies to encourage your child’s overall communication development. Children will also have the opportunity to socialize and play with fellow toddlers.** Siblings under 14 months are welcome to join with no additional charge. Play and Learn

Ages: 24 Months-36 Months Tiny Talkers class 2 (emerging talkers) focuses on socialization and play while advancing language and other developmental skills. The class, led by ASHA-certified speech therapists, will help promote your child's speech and language skills through music, toys, and games. Each week, we will teach and demonstrate speech strategies to encourage your child?s overall communication development. Parent education and information to practice at home will be included. Stranger Danger

Ages: 4-10 years The focus of this program is to teach children about the potential dangers of strangers through the explanation of numerous safety tips by Hinsdale Police Officers. Junior Firefighter

Age: 3-8 years w/parent Hinsdale Firefighters explain and demonstrate important fire safety practices. Children will tour the Fire Safety house. Firefighters will show participants how to exit a home in the event of a fire and how to recognize potential fire hazards. Children must be accompanied by and adult.
