MWR Group Fitness Class Descriptions is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls

This age-old practice consists of poses and breathing techniques that create physical strength and stamina, while improving balance and flexibility. is the yoga, tai chi, & Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic cardiovascular workout that will blow you away! is the lowimpact, whole body group fitness workout that uses tubes and body weight to boost fitness and core strength.

is a cardiobased total body conditioning workout that pushes your limits. With explosive cardio, plyometrics drills, strength intervals as well as intense core and ab training, you’ll work at your own level and build your strength and endurance a bit at a time.

is a high intensity interval training. This is a 30min class focusing on strength, cardio, and plyometric training.

SPINNING

An invigorating workout on our state-of-the-art bikes will leave you breathless. Focusing on proper posture on the bike and emphasizing sound riding technique, you’ll be sure to enjoy your ride.

PiYo is a fun, challenging class fusing Pilates and Yoga. You will burn calories, tone muscles, work on balance and get a great stretch!

KANGOO

This fun cardiovascular class uses patented impact protection boots, originally designed for runners with injuries. The soft landing created by the spring allows you rebound and perform modified plyometric moves with 80% less impact! Boots are available for checkout. Long socks are mandatory! This program hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It's ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, as well as improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. Power Yoga is a fast-paced class with flowing postures that will get you moving, breathing, and sweating. Focus is placed on strengthening muscles along with proper body alignment. Balancing poses, core work, and stretching postures are explored in the last half of class.

HYDROSPIN is an underwater cycling class Using high energy music you will feel energized and invigorated!

AQUA MIX Deep and Shallow water combo class. This class provides an excellent cross-training experience who want to improve their physical endurance and tone their body through interval and strength training methods.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST): Provides military, civilian employees and adult family members with 16 hours of training in specific skills to identify and support colleagues, family, and friends who have thoughts of suicide Building Effective Anger Management- An interactive workshop that teaches techniques for reducing and managing anger. Must attend both classes and certificate is awarded for completion of the 6 hours. Building Healthy Relationships: Designed to enhance established relationships by providing tools on emotional record keeping, expectations, communication, and developing healthy habits Organization Your Life: Learn your style of organization as well as innovative tips and tricks to de-clutter your life. Scream Free Couples: This video and discussion group focuses on calming down and getting closer in relationships. Individuals may still attend if one partner is available. Infant Massage: Learn to calm and soothe your baby through nurturing touch. For parents, care-givers and their babies up to one year of age.
