This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. The low-impact, whole body group fitness workout that uses tubes and body weight to boost fitness and core strength. PiYo is a fun, challenging class fusing Pilates and Yoga. You will burn calories, tone muscles, work on balance and get a great stretch! A cardio-based total body conditioning workout that pushes your limits. With explosive cardio, plyometrics drills, strength intervals as well as intense core and ab training, you’ll work at your own level. This age-old practice consists of poses and breathing techniques that create physical strength and stamina, while improving balance and flexibility. A fast-paced class with flowing postures that will get you moving, breathing, and sweating. Focus is placed on strengthening muscles along with proper body alignment. Balancing poses, core work, and stretching postures are explored in the last half of class. The yoga, tai chi, & Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic cardiovascular workout that will blow you away! An invigorating workout on our state-of-the-art bikes will leave you breathless. Focusing on proper posture on the bike and emphasizing sound riding technique, you’ll be sure to enjoy your ride. This is a form of interval training that alternates short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with lessintense recovery periods. A great full body cardio workout! This program hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It's ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, as well as improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. This class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that's cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief Deep and Shallow water combo class. This class provides an excellent cross-training experience who want to improve their physical endurance and tone their body through interval and strength training methods.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST): Provides military, civilian employees, and adult family members with 16 hours of training in specific skills to identify and support colleagues, family, and friends who have thoughts of suicide. Building Effective Anger Management- An interactive workshop that teaches techniques for reducing and managing anger. Must attend both classes and certificate is awarded for completion of the 6 hours. Suicide Prevention: Identify suicide warning signs, how to respond and resources to support anyone who may be contemplating suicide. Happiest Baby On The Block: This 2 hour class is based on the bestselling parenting book and DVD, The Happiest Baby on the Block by pediatrician and child development expert Dr. Harvey Karp. This class provides participants with the necessary tools to calm a crying baby. Come receive step by step instruction and practice the 5S's to soothe crying so your baby-and you-can sleep longer. Women, Infants, and Children (WIC): Are you a pregnant woman, new mother, or have infants and children under age 5 and live in Montgomery or Prince George's County? The FFSC is partnering with the Community Clinic, Inc., WIC program to answer any questions/pre-certify you for participation in the WIC program. Hearts Apart Lunch Connection: Geographical separation networking group, at Main Street CafĂŠ. Pre-deployment brief: Designed to assist the IA service member in preparing for their deployment, presenters will focus on emotional, legal, financial preparation as well as provide resources. Service members and their adult family members are welcome to attend. Return and Reunion: Designed to address typical issues of postdeployment such as finances, the emotional cycle of deployment, as well as reuniting and renewing relationships. Service members and their adult family members are welcome to attend.

Credit Score Day: For active duty service members and spouses: Curious what your FICO score is? Visit FFSC and our Financial Counselors will pull your credit report for FREE, show you your score, review your report and discuss ways to improve your score. No Appointment necessary Retirement Planning for Military: Active duty members with less than 12 years of service or Reserve Component with less than 4, 320 points may want to come hear about the options they have to elect into the new Blended Retirement System (BRS). This will include information about the TSP vesting and matching programs and the Eligibility requirements. Thrift Savings Plan (TSP): Learn details about the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). How to set it up, how to make an investment selection, and how to manage it. Sponsorship Training: Learn important skills and resources to ease the transition of service members and their families as they move.

Interview Skills for Military Spouses: Interviewing is a key step in getting a job; learn how to conduct yourself prepare, communicate, dress, and other valuable information. Job Search Strategies for Military Spouses: Design strategies and techniques for conducting an effective job search. New Spouse Orientation: For new military spouses to support their entrance and ease their transition to the military Resume Writing for Spouses: improve the overall appearance and effectiveness of your resume! This class will give participants valuable feedback and strategies they can implement. Transition Benefit Brief (TBB): This is a refresher course for those post-TGPS course attendees targeted at transitioning service members and their family members. Subject matter experts will cover financial planning, VA benefits, SBP Insurance, Edu-cation, and Health Care options.

Women’s Empowerment Group: This group provides the tools to develop a healthier sense of self. Our empowerment group will strengthen and build confidence, gives women the ability to exercise assertiveness, positive thinking, improves personal development, increase self-image, self-determination, autonomy, and assist with overcoming stigma, and feeling powerlessness. This group is open to all service members, federal employees, contractors, retirees, reservists and family members. Registration not required, but preferred. All Active Duty military, Wounded Warriors, NMAs, Dependents, Retirees, Reservist, and DoD Civilians are eligible to participate in programs. *some exception may apply
