Visit of Secretary Department of Land Resources Sh. Vijay Madan, IAS to District Jind to review the pilot project on Aadhar enabled Land Record System on 15 October 2015.
Secy, DoLR Sh. Vijay Madan, IAS, along with Joint Secretary Sh. Hukum Singh Meena, IAS and Director LR, visited Jind district to review the pilot project on Aadhar enabled Land Record System which was launched on 10 October 2015 by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Haryana and Hon’ble Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchyati Raj and Drinking water supplies. The Deputy Commissioner, Jind Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, ADC Jind, Mrs. Gauri Parasher Joshi and SP Jind, Sh. Abhishek Jorwal welcomed the team. The team first visited Tehsil edisha Centre to see a live demonstration of Aadhar Enabled Property Registration System in which biometrics of Parties and witnesses were authenticated using Aadhar Number. The Secretary and Joint Secretary also saw other computerized services provided from Tehsil edisha centre. They were briefed that Tehsil edisha centres provides the services through HARIS & HALRIS system developed by NIC Haryana.
After the tehsil visit the Hon’ble Secretary chaired the third review meeting of the pilot project. The earlier meetings were held at DOLR New Delhi on 11th September 2015 and 27th September 2015. The meeting was attended by NIC Haryana Team led by Sh. Surjeet Singh, TD, Sh. M.Z.R. Badar TD & DIO, Sh. G.S. Saini, Scientist-C and Sh. Sanjeev Kumar ADIO Jind. The meeting was attended by all Revenue officers of Jind and officers and officials from UIDAI, RO Chandigarh, NISG & HARSAC. The Secretary was given presentation on the project and after the review appreciated the efforts of District Administration and NIC Haryana for successfully launching 03 systems under this pilot project and completing the work in 02 pilot villages in a very short span of one month. He quipped excellent work, let’s take this further and do it for whole district with same enthusiasm. He also emphasized that now we can build systems further to realize Aadhar# HARIS# HALRIS# Bhu Naksha. He also ensured full support of central and state government to complete the pilot.
After the Meeting the team visited the third pilot village Kishanpura to see how seeding and authentication of Aadhar is being done in Land Record at the villages. The team was shown live by doing seeding and authentication of farmers through online seeding and online authentication system.
