Assassin`s Creed Unity

In the year 2007, Ubisoft* Montreal introduced the world to a new IP called Assassin’s Creed. Known for their storydriven games, Ubisoft* once again managed to bring something new to the table, and before they knew it, they created a large fanbase. This fanbase is one of the most dedicated ones in the games industry. From artists to cosplayers, from collectors to newshunters, the internet is buzzing with all that is Assassin’s Creed. It was therefor only a matter of time before fansites started to emerge. One of the people compelled to do so was Carlo Prisco from Italy. By the end of 2012, he realized his dream to create what was the basis for what MyCreed is today. What began as a fansite on which he displayed his collection of Assassin’s Creed, soon grew out to be a community website containing blogs and newsfeeds. Following in his footsteps, Michael Braam from the Netherlands started working on the dutch version. Giving it his own twist, he launched MyCreed Benelux in the beginning of 2013. In the beginning, MyCreed Benelux also consisted of fans, showing their collection and discussing the future of Assassin’s Creed. But as the amount of fans grew further, so did the websites. Looking more and more professional, it started to get noticed around the world. This was the first step to the latest development: MyCreed Network.

MyCreed Network is to become the center of MyCreed pages worldwide. The goal is simple: to launch a MyCreed page in every country possible. With the help and support of Michael and Carlo, newcomers can get started with their own MyCreed website. The initial setup has been taken care of, the publications and newsarticles are up to the members of that website. As long as the Third Tenet of the Creed (never compromise the Brotherhood) is not broken, “everything is permitted”. We, the members and crew of MyCreed Network, invite you to come and have a look what we have to offer. Feel free to mingle, join and get the discussions going. Be part of one of the greatest communities in the games industry. Join the Creed, be part of our Brotherhood, experience the Revelations, fight for Freedom (we won’t command you to join or die, we promise), hoist the Black Flag and strive for Unity in the near future! What is Assassin’s Creed? Only a Game ? What is a video game? The answers may be multiple. A video game can be framed , albeit trivially , as a mere form of entertainment, stereotyping everything to this term hides behind. Until a few years ago we could define a videogames as a new form of entertainment, but now, after the evolution of this world , it is fair to define a game as transmedia entertainment , able to blend together the noblest of the arts , creating a blend of emotions. All this fits perfectly in one of the titles that the previous generation of consoles has been able to generate . We are talking about Assassin ‘s Creed , one of gaming ‘s most acclaimed sagas of the past decade , the result of the minds of known software company Ubisoft. Assassin ‘s Creed can not be so framed as only digital entertainment. Assassin ‘s Creed is a lot more! Assassin ‘s Creed is transmedia , because , moving through different types of media , contributes to new and different with every passing information to the user experience. And ‘ visual art , not only thanks to the latest generation graphics ever , but also to the smallest detail and faithful reconstructions of historic buildings from the important cultural and artistic significance in which you play the story. And ‘ music ,

thanks to the soundtracks over the years have made thrills fans ; Music always entrusted to musicians of great caliber. And ‘ philosophy , putting the players questions and concepts to be developed in a profound way. And ‘ literature , thanks to the implementation of the annual securities in fictional format , or comics , with new adventures able to enthuse the saga even those who do not like video games. But Assassin ‘s Creed is also collecting. From the very beginning the saga Ubisoft has managed to open up a world around , enjoyed today by many fans , thanks not only to beautiful limited editions or fantastic reproductions of the main characters known over the years , but also thanks to the varied merchandise (books , gadgets, articles of clothing, and so forth ) . Assassin ‘s Creed is then entertainment , transmedia and above all passion , the same passion with which our team of Assassin’s Collection - MyCreed we decided to create a continuously updated database on all items products dedicated to the Assassin’s Creed saga.

MyCreed international Even though MyCreed has its roots in Italy and the Netherlands, we have the ambition to grow. Like we said before: we have a goal to reach. That goal is to go global! We already found partners in Germany, but now we would like to take the next step. We would like to reach out to the english speaking countries. Negotiations are going on right now to set foot in England and the United States. Especially for those countries we’ve set up MyCreed International. For now, MyCreed International is the portal for all english speaking countries untill we have found a party that will set up their own MyCreed page in their own country. facebook.com/mycreedinternational

MyCreed cosplay Cosplay has always been a great way for fans to express their love for the franchise. Ever since MyCreed Benelux an Italy started to gain members, cosplay has been a part of it. MyCreed Cosplay is a pure Facebook community, but all the MyCreed websites have a link to forward fellow cosplayers to the correct page.
