Project 1 Illustrative Posters For this project I was asked to create a set of illustrative posters. These posters are all illustrations that were based off of quotes about creativity. All three illustrations are meant to be representations of these quotes. For this project I used watercolor pencils to create the illustrations. I also used Photoshop to create the texture in the backgrounds of each poster.

Project 2 JIF Ad Campaign : Group Project For this project I was the Art director in a group of four individuals. Our task was to create a global awareness campaign sponsored by JIF peanut butter to spread awareness of child hunger. Our Creative Director designed the logo and I designed the ads based off of what she and the other team members thought would work best for the project. We decided to go with school trays because this is a good representation of food and children. We also decided to stick with using only the JIF logo colors so the viewers know who is representing the cause.
Project 3 Annie’s Ads The design challenge for this project was t0 create a set of advertisements that would show the audience that the Annie’s Gummies are a delicious, healthy, all natural, and organic snack. The idea behind these ads was to show of the natural aspects of the product by comparing it to the children who eat them. Nothing is more natural than a happy child playing so the ads are filled with imagery of happy children playing. The colors used were meant to create a natural feel to the design.
Project 4 Little Sprouts Branding For this project we were asked to create a product and design the packaging for it. Along with this we were asked to create a brand identity for the company we had created. The idea was to make the brand very kid friendly and appeal to parents with small children. This is why we went with pastel colors and illustrations that appear to look like a child could have drawn them. Images of children watering plants were also used to play off of the drink giving water to your little sprout.

Project 5 Goldieblox Typeface For this project we were asked to create a typeface inspired by a company. The Goldieblox toy company inspired this typeface; this company creates engineering toys and books for girls who want to be more than a princess. Gold is the main color used because the main idea of the company’s brand is to get girls out of the pink toy aisle. The GoldieBlox character was also used within the ads and posters to create a sense of the product in the advertisements.

Project 6 Illustrated Book For this project I was asked to illustrate a narrative. The book was based off of a quote about how self-doubt is the biggest enemy to creativity. The woman in the book is writing and she begins to doubt her work, than her doubt manifests itself as living being. It pulls her away from her work and at the end of the story you see that the darkness that pulled her away was in fact her own self. This entire project was created using illustrator.
Project 7 Edutainment App For this project we were asked to create an edutainment app that is both fun and educational. We were asked to pick a certain age group and design the app based off of what they would be learning in that group. This app is designed for middle school students and possibly 9th and 10th graders. As this app is designed to teach kids about Egypt the imagery is meant to appear like something one would see on an Egyptian wall but in more of an illustrative style.
