CURRICULUM PRINT COMPONENTS Printed curriculum items include the Royal Rangers Leader Manual and the boys’ handbooks for Ranger Kids, Discovery Rangers, Adventure Rangers, and Expedition Rangers. These books serve as core reference material for all aspects of the Royal Rangers program and are integral components of the leadership and skills development process. A Guy’s Journey series of books also serves key roles in the program. A Guy’s Journey to Manhood describes the process by which God develops boys into powerful men of God. Each step may be represented by one or more forms of recognition, such as a medal, patch, or ribbon. Regardless of the form of recognition used, all insignia represent the same award, allowing you to choose the form of recognition that best suits your group’s chosen style. Patches are 2 x 2½"; Medallions are 3". All advancement steps are represented by a patch worn on the utility uniform or an awards vest.
