LANDSCAPE DESIGN FUNDAMENTAL PROJECT by 15 supermans of Mr. LUONG’s team 2nd-year project

This project helps newbies to understand how a standard park in urban area was planned and designed; which kind of plants would be suitable for Vietnamese’s weather; how to grow and take care of them; which kind of open space would be usually used in daily life by the citizen. Therefore, they can take a further step in designing park with various function in upper class.

LAM DONG | UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY

INTEGRATED PROJECT

Lam Dong University of Agriculture and Forestry

There was a plan for this area to become Nam Phuong lake park in January 2008. But our team considered about advantages the site has, and a lot of opportunities it can offer the people around Lam Dong province when becoming a University of agriculture and forestry. Including educating the young generation about the special agriculture and forestry of Tay Nguyen’s provinces, enhancing people’s awareness about co-living with nature, and also becoming an environment events holding place and tourist attraction. This last collaborative project gives me an integrated review of what I have studied for 4 years and prepare for the next final project.

URBAN DESIGN PROJECT

THE VARIOUSITY OF RESIDENTIAL INNER CORE

The Government always want to develope SaiGon like an second Singapore with skyscrapers and big plazas in such an ancient area. But, they are maybe not the way the Saigonese want. You can tell just by looking at the way theY live. Saigonese is weird as same as the place they live. They can just meet you yesterday, and today they laugh with you like you guys being friends for long time. But please don’t misunderstand. Only the person that they are actually closed with, they will show the different aspect of them. Same as the city urban. Looking from the outside is may be stunning and beautiful in the neon light but when you walk in any inner space of SaiGon, you would find a different aspect of them. They can have both good and bad things, but they are real.

Resort masterplan

Lang Van used to be a village for lepers, who were left aside of the society. The site was covered by green forest, blue sea and pinky sand every time the sun rissing up. The site also was open to the sea and isolated, creating an unique atmosphere, close to the outside world and reach out more to nature. Lang Van resort was designed suitable for resting, soul healing with system of spas, restaurants, and a lot of multi activities on the beach for tourists.

Plantation upon the "trash" hill

With the proposed changes, Da Phuoc Environmental Theme Park, formerly known as the largest landfill site in Ho Chi Minh City, bring about obsessions of odors and pollution to the people, to become a greenery, beautiful space, attracting people to come and stay. And Da Phuoc environmental theme park will become a new symbol of green, sustainable development in the direction of the city until 2050.
