Their youngest son, Stephen Mahlschnee II, took over the business in 2015 after earning his CBC (Certifi ed Building Contractor) license and Associate’s degree in Business Administration. Stephen II had worked at his father’s businesses as he grew up, so he was already familiar with how to run a company both professionally and successfully. Since Stephen was born in Martin County and has lived in St Lucie County for all of his life, he is very dedicated to his community and knows about all of its intricacies. explains, “When I started building the company, I wasn’t thinking about getting rich or anything. To me, the opportunity was given to me and I tried to make the best out of it.” And so he did.
Soon enough, the business began to grow to include his foreman, Dan, who has over 20 years of experience. Then, Stephen’s girlfriend, Dayna Hunter Sisk, came on board to assist with scheduling and administrative tasks. Now, the P&S Gutters team includes Stephen, Dayna, and Dan, plus Stephen’s mother/ offi ce support professional, Kathy (who installed gutters herself when the company fi rst operated in the 80s), administrative afi cionado, Sherry, and two other hardworking installers, James and John. John happens to be foreman Dan’s son, and he has years of gutter experience as well. Together, the P&S Gutters family is committed to providing the best customer service in the business!
Unfortunately, if installers don’t know what they are doing with your gutters, then big problems can pop up quickly.
