Michael McMaster and Kyle Johnson opened McMaster & Johnson Jewelry in January of this year after working together at another locally-owned jewelry shop for 9 years. Michael and Kyle are a dynamic duo who combine their individual knowledge and expertise together to provide a superior experience for their clients. Besides being incredibly adept at repairing ne jewelry and watches, they specialize in crafting custom jewelry, and are able to create 3D CAD (computer-assisted design) models for clients to review before nalizing their design.
Michael has been working in the jewelry industry, designing and crafting
gorgeous pieces and repairing classic favorites, for the past 23 years in Jupiter. His background is in Fine Arts, so he is able to exercise his creative prowess using jewelry as his medium. Michael is so beloved that clients have followed him wherever he goes, making him their exclusive jeweler because they trust him so much.
Kyle is certi ed with the esteemed Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as an Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP). He explains, “With the certi cation you gain a lot of knowledge on the broad spectrum from antiques and different time periods to the tiniest details of stone grading and qualities to make sure that the customer gets the best product for the best value.” As a self-described “people-pleaser,” Kyle works hard to ensure that “everybody’s happy and has the best experience,” utilizing his GIA knowledge as part of the process.
