Brief Introduction
This is a splendid opportunity for any organisation seeking to promote their business but also to be part of a great and worthy cause. As the name suggests “Al-Hidayah” meaning “The Guidance”, our hope is to provide better guidance for young Muslims. The Al-Hidayah magazine is a youth initiative formed by the Muslim Youth League U.K. The Al-Hidayah magazine is a unique project run entirely by young and selfmotivated individuals. We are committed to the betterment of young Muslims through education. Promoting social responsibility and tackling issues affecting the youth. Our specific audience is Muslim students at Universities. In recent years there has been growing radicalisation of impressionable Muslim youth across Universities in the U.K. Muslims around the world are upset by the way their faith is wrongly perceived. Widely misrepresented and negatively portrayed by the mainstream media and Muslims themselves failing to portray the true image of Islam. Our aim is to portray the true image of Islam, in doing so; we will provide the necessary guidance for young Muslims to be able to reject extremist ideologies. Articles will be written using fully referenced theological backing and scholarly resources from classical Islamic teachings. Conveying clarity on some of the misconceptions and confusion thereby shedding light on contemporary issues faced by young Muslims. This magazine is a practical step towards de-radicalisation of the Muslim youth.
Main purposes of the Al-Hidayah magazine: 1. Provide an intellectual and social medium for Muslim students living in the West. To be the leading voice for the Muslim youth. 2. To cover topics that affect Muslim students and dealing with issues unique to Muslims in the West– ranging from secular & religious, social & political, life, health and wellbeing. 3. Provide academic information, in a language that is easy for all youth to understand, without losing its authority. 4. Clarifying the role of Muslims in the West in regards to social integration and personal identity. The magazine is of very high specification, with impressive quality and appearance. Enormous effort is taken to ensure maximum results. The talented team of young professionals will ensure that your specifications are met. Using the established network of MYL we will be distributing the magazines to all major Universities across the U.K. including at major events, religious institutions and places of youth inter-action. In-order to maximise the readership of the magazine, it will be distributed free of charge across the U.K. and mainland Europe. The Al-Hidayah magazine has already received attention from international media, politicians, policy makers and law enforcement, at its launch ceremony. As a business it would be beneficial and cost effective to place advertisements in a magazine such as ours rather than in newspapers. Magazines tend to linger around in people’s homes or businesses for longer and not disposed of like newspapers.
