TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ORDERS Minimum opening orders are $500 and recorders are $200 for customers in the United States. Wholesale pricing applies to customers with a storefront and state issued resale number. New customers must provide appropriate documentation prior to the first order being placed. Trade pricing is extended to architects and designers. PRICING Order minimum is $500 with a reorder minimum of $250. Please email customer service for a copy of our most up to date pricing guide. Prices are subject to change without notice. Items marked with a (*) are available while supplies last. Stock availability can be obtained at any time by calling or emailing customer service at customerservice@melaartisans.com or (212) 941-6352. PAYMENT TERMS Mela Artisans requires 100% payment at the time of shipping. Payment is accepted via credit card (Amex, Mastercard, or Visa) or company check. Prepayments must include freight charge. If prepaid by check, allow two weeks for check clearance. There will be a $50 fee applied for returned checks. Orders with a declined credit card will be held for 30 days. If another form of payment is not supplied the order will be canceled. ORDER CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES Changes to orders can be accommodated before the order reaches fulfillment. If the order has been processed, order changes cannot be accepted. Order cancellations must be in writing and received prior to shipment. If the order is packed and shipped, it will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. SHIPPING The cost of goods does not include shipping or handling charges. Orders are shipped FedEx from our warehouse in Boca Raton, FL. Standard shipping rates apply for all orders. International
accounts may use freight forwarders if prior arrangements have been made. Freight carrier is subject to change without notice. Routing information must be specified at the time the order is placed. Special handling requests are subject to extra charges. Due to the subject of the merchandise, some items will be shipped in oversized cartons, which may result in higher freight cost. Mela Artisans does not ship C.O.D. We accept shipping accounts on a case by case basis. We do offer dropship services; please contact our sales representatives for details. Confirmed orders will be shipped as outlined in the order confirmation. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Mela Artisans if there are changes to an order prior to shipment. Failure to notify Mela Artisans of any changes that result in shipment refusal will incur a 20% restocking fee. We offer a 20% freight cap program to our West Coast customers; for orders in which the freight charge is over 20% of the cost of the order, Mela Artisans will cover the shipping cost.

RUSH ORDERS We will gladly expedite your order upon request if possible. Rush orders will include a $75 rush fee and orders must be received by 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time. BACKORDER Items not shipped will be placed on backorder, unless otherwise directed. All backorders not shipped after 3 months will be canceled, unless a specific cancel date has been supplied by the customer. CLAIMS AND RETURNS Mela Artisans products are handcrafted. As such there might be slight variations in size, color, texture and finish. These are not considered flaws, but inherent in the nature of the handcrafted items. Please examine your order upon arrival. Any shipping related damage or loss must be claimed by consignee with carrier. All other damages and shortages must be reported, with photographic evidence to Mela Artisans within 7 business days
