Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 71 S near Wickes.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Anders Avenue near Hatfield in reference to someone breaking into and entering the home.

Shannon House, 56, of Grannis was arrested on three Failure to Appear Warrants and a warrant for Harassment.

Jessica Mayo, 37, of Vandervoort was arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department on two Failure to Appear Warrants.

Deputies responded to a report of a theft from a residence on Webb Lane near Rocky.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 3 vehicle accidents this week.

Caleb Clausen, 23, was served with warrants at Walmart.

Debra Enis, 58, was served with a warrant at a residence on Wildwood Street.

Michelle Crawford, 31, was charged with Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at Walmart.

Judy Sickler, 68, of Mena was killed Friday, Nov. 10, in a three-vehicle accident in Scott County.

Sickler was driving south on U.S. Highway 71 in a 2020 Kia when she crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a 2014 GMC heading northbound, according to preliminary fatality reports from the Arkansas State Police.

The GMC, driven by Justin Abernathy, 26, of Waldron crashed into a ditch after impact, injuring Abernathy.

The Kia spun around as a result of the impact. It then reentered the southbound lane where the front end of the Sickler’s vehicle was struck by a 2019 Ford that had been driving south behind the Kia.

State troopers investigating the wreck reported that the weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
