As well as providing meal supplies for up to 15 families a week, Alford Community Food Store also has a number of games and toys available from their lockdown library.

There is also an electronic keyboard, a baby walker, car seat and travel cot. These items can be kept or loaned and returned, whichever method families feel fits their situation best.

As in the previous lockdown, all items are quarantined before being sent to new homes. Please note that the organsation is not currently accepting new library donations. 9

Alford Car Transport Service (ACTS) is available to take people of any age to essential appointments at the hospital, GPs, optician, dentist, care homes and clinics, including Covid vaccinations.

Run by volunteers, the service is free but donations are appreciated if you can.
