Thailand is a land of many terrains and tastes, traveling but it extremely attractive to the mobile entrepreneur because it ticks a great many boxes. When putting this review together I thought of the unique things that especially made Thailand attractive traveling business woman with a family.
Firstly, I love the heat and the gorgeous traditional culture, I love Thai cuisine but like having options and Thailand affords you first class international cuisine. First Class International schooling for children and serious shopping especially in Bangkok. The place really is massive value high quality living at the ridiculously low cost of living.
Absolutely stunning this former seat of the Lanna kingdom is still blissfully calm and laid-back. This is a place to relax and recharge your batteries with fabulous food and leisurely wandering. If you don’t want to participate in the vast array of activities on offer, just stroll around the backstreets, and discover a city that is still firmly Thai in its aspect, atmosphere, and attitude.
Chiang Mai also happens to be nomad entrepreneur central where business people from around the world hang out for months, years or decades at a time- the place has powerful energy & you meet some amazing business talent in cafes around the place.
Chiang Mai is really authentic you will love the temples, the forests that are so fresh they invigorate you, and the markets that have everything you desire and a few things you didn’t even know yiy wanted.
If you love the beach well you are in heaven in Thailand and you are spoilt for choice, Myriam has travelled and reviewed some of the best beach locations in Thailand especially in the south, but none rate quite as highly as Koh Samui, where the service and feel is classy and first class and yet the culture and feel is still laid back Thailand, again Koh Samui has everything you can possibly desire including first class medical services, and it has a massive expat community that is flourishing.
The thai have a calm about there that is evident even in the great hub that is Bangkok- you can easily rent a large family sized apartment in the heart of Bangkok with living expenses included for less than $2000 a month.
