Program Blocks of flats Office buildings Nursery school Kiosks Stores Parks Surface area: 4 ha Mineral and vegetable axes in the service of the view. The first inten tion of the project: to motivate inhabitants to appreciate the great sight on the capital. The nursery school, thanks to its orientation and its plate glass windows, offers a wide panorama on Paris, directly in the line with the principal mineral route. It also constitutes an articulation between two vegetable continuities. Buildings sometimes articulate around the numerous public spaces created, and sometimes at the edge of the parking area. Two others ve getable routes cross the plot, suggesting in a horizontal way narrower paths discreetly leading to the apartment buildings.

The visitor goes through the space inside the museum or by the side passageways. The longitudinal evolution punctuates three times with functional vertical blocks.

Special School of Architecture Process To create a garment. Twist it. Tear it. Live in it. Give it a structural support. Film strips are fixed on a basic wooden structure. They form the roof of the shelter. Then, they are droped on it, creating a facing for the body. The film strips perfectly conform the structure and modu late at will.

Workshop - Tadashi Kawamata June 2013 La Vilette, Paris 19e Process Workshop d’une jour née ouvert au public. The aim is to create, in a few hours and with a team, a facing for the tower. Kawamata’s favourite material is wood: it is made available for everyone. Each construction is then taken apart. The organization salvages nails and w ood.
