Jose Martinez (left) and Martin Gonzalez have been playing racquetball at Franciscan Health Fitness Center for more than ten years. ________________________________________________
Franciscan Health Fitness Centers Members Martin Gonzalez and Jose Martinez took 1st Place in the (MCAD) Men’s Doubles – Centurion +A Division of the US OPEN Racquetball Championship. The pair played from Wednesday, October 4th through Sunday, October 8th, 2017 in the single elimination tournament held at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN Jose Martinez has been a member of Franciscan Health Fitness Centers since 1990, and Martin Gonzalez has been a member since 2004. Both have been playing racquetball three to four times a week and doubles for at least 10 of those years. “I’ve played a lot of doubles and mixed doubles and met a lot of good partners through Franciscan Health Fitness Centers so Martin and I don’t always partner.” Last year Jose won the Nationals with fellow Club member and partner, Drake Deavours. This year, Jose and Martin decided to try for the US Open, the biggest tournament in Racquetball. As two of 758 players at the US Open, Jose and Martin not only play for themselves but also to represent the Club. “Martin and I play all over and it’s good to come home to Franciscan Health Fitness Centers. It’s one of the best and cleanest clubs we’ve been in and we’ve been in a lot of clubs. We’re proud to represent Franciscan Health Fitness Centers and call it our home club.”
When Jose and Martin flew out to the tournament by themselves, their family fan club stayed home. “On Friday, we had just lost a game and I was feeling it, just sad. And Martin has this big smile on his face and I am thinking, we just lost a game, what’s with the big smile? I turn around and there’s my wife, who had driven seven hours to surprise me and, since I wasn’t expecting to see her, I almost didn’t recognize her!” Jose’s wife and two daughters had come to cheer them on. On Saturday, they had a second surprise when Martin’s daughter, two grandchildren, a niece and her children showed up as well. “That really puts the pressure on—having the family watch you play!” says Jose. Jose also mentioned that by using all aspects of the Club, he is more successful at racquetball. “I am fully invested—I cross train, use free weights and do cardio. You just have to, your body needs strength and mental focus in order to do your best work in any sport.” Franciscan Health Fitness Centers Schererville has nine racquetball courts and is host for several INSRA (Indiana State Racquetball Association) Tournaments and other local tournaments every year. For information or to take a tour of the facility, call 219-865-6969 or stop in at 221 US Hwy 41, Suite A, Schererville, IN.

District 205 ICC Real Estate Celebrates Family Questions & Answers Reading Week Real Estate Specialists
CATHY & JIM HIGGINS Question: I’m in the middle of buying my first home, or at least I still hope so. My pre-qual required the seller to pay 6 percent of closing costs and I managed to finally find a house acceptable to my mortgage representative. My broker submitted a purchase agreement and the seller agreed to all the terms stipulated by my mortgage rep. Three weeks later, my mortgage rep says I need to come up with a 5-percent down payment even though they’re working on a 100-percent, zero down loan. I’m terribly confused and angry about this. I was never told I’d need a down payment until now. Should I take my business elsewhere? Answer: Where is “elsewhere”? What you’re trying to do is purchase a home with 6-percent discount and no money down. You probably could have done such a transaction several years ago,
but that window is largely if not entirely shut. Many of the lenders who made such loans are out-of-business, no longer offering such terms, or looking for interest rates normally associated with third-world economies. I would expect that you have a conditional pre-approval and not an absolute financing guarantee. Speak with your broker about other lenders in your community to see if this purchase can be salvaged. District 205’s Infant and Child Care Center (ICC) celebrated Family Reading Week by having Representative William Q. Davis, a former Thornridge Falcon, come and read to children and their parents. Inspired by Family Reading Night, initiated by State Librarian Jess White, ICC expanded the annual event with a week of activities. Certificates of participation were awarded Friday to the teen parents and grandparents, with Staley the Bears Mascot in attendance. ICC Director Angie James has herself authored several children’s books, and Rep Davis read one of them, I Am Special, as well as the picture book Colors All Day. Davis reminded the parents that by reading as a group, families can start the process of building literacy skills in their children, even from birth, since children tend to do as their parents do. Reading together also builds family bonds. Before leaving to continue his busy schedule, Davis encouraged parents to read 5 to 10 books a day to their babies. ICC is a licensed professional daycare serving teen parents of District 205, as well as Outlook Academy, AFL in Riverdale, Country Club Hills Tech and Trade, and South Suburban College. The center accepts children between the ages of 6 weeks and 3 years old. By providing daycare for the children of teens, ICC enables students to continue in school to complete their educations and get the best possible start in lfe.

South Suburban College hosted a dedication ceremony for the new College History Wall and Display on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the atrium of the College’s Main Campus. The display features photos and memorabilia from the college’s 90-year history. Many students, faculty, staff and administrators joined us in honoring the institution that has made its place in the community and enriched the lives of so many. Before cutting the ribbon, College President Don Manning highlighted the role the college has played in the lives of so many students, and how students today share the same hope for the future as those who came before. South Suburban College was once known as Thornton Community College and Thornton Jr. College. In 1927, a small group of high school graduates gathered at Thornton Township High School on 151st street in Harvey. They were the start of what is now a

The public is invited to stop by Monday through Friday to view the display. A video segment spotlighting the Dedication may be seen at https://youtu.be/N89tsv2_Cq0. Chevrolet of Homewood, located at 18033 Halsted St. in Homewood, IL, began taking submissions for their Third Annual Chevy Giveaway—a brand new Chevy Sonic. Owner Steve Philipos, along with Homewood Mayor Rich Hofeld and Jamal Green, a Chicago activist, will be judging the submissions, along with Homewood Chevy staff and Village of Homewood employees. Philipos said that something many people take for granted is the ability to get in our cars and get where we need to go. That is why he loves to do this
giveaway and get the keys of a brand new car into the hand of a person truly in need of it. Participants must submit a 200-word or less story on why winning a brand new Chevrolet Sonic would change their life. Entries can be submitted at HomewoodChevyCares.com or through the mail to Chevrolet of Homewood, 18033 Halsted St., Homewood, IL 60430. Essay submissions began on November 1, 2017 and will end on December 17, 2017. Finalists will be selected on the 19th. A winner will be chosen and notified December 22, and will be given

Since the age of just 3 years old, Rosie has been fighting brain cancer, and she has had 26 surgeries. She’s been to the doctor over 400 times and experienced over 230 MRIs, all by the age of 12. The new car ensured that she would never miss her testing or appointments. For more information or to enter the Third Annual Chevy Giveaway, visit homewoodchevycares.com.

Keep Your Home and Turkey Burn-Free This Thanksgiving Millions of Americans have already purchased their turkey or ham and all of the fixings needed for their annual Thanksgiving Day feast. While many will spend the holiday surrounded by family and friends, others will spend it and the days surrounding it in the emergency room. “After working in the kitchen all day on Thanksgiving, the last thing you want to do is drive to the emergency room with severe burns, or clean up from a bad fire,” said Eric Vanasdale, senior loss control representative at COUNTRY Financial®. Thanksgiving Day holds the yearly record for cookingrelated fires, according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). With the increasing use of turkey fryers, these numbers continue to increase. Thanksgiving by the numbers · Thanksgiving is the peak day for home cooking fires, followed by Christmas Day and Christmas Eve · Unattended cooking was by far the leading contributing factor in cooking fires and fire deaths according to 2014 NFPA data · Cooking equipment was involved in almost half (48

percent) of all reported home fires and civilian and tied with heating equipment for the second leading cause of home fire deaths. To ensure your Thanksgiving is fire free, we suggest following these five tips to stay safe in the kitchen: 1. Test your smoke detectors and check your fire extinguisher the day before you begin cooking. This will give you time to buy replacement batteries or extinguishers. Don’t forget to have a kitchen rated fire extinguisher on hand. It will do a better job of putting out grease fires. å 2. Think twice before frying. Frying a turkey requires cooking a substantial amount of oil at very high temperatures which could easily lead to severe burns and devastating grease fires. Consider using an oil-less air fryer to create the same taste instead. If you are deep frying a turkey, use the fryer outside and on the bare ground or driveway. Do not use the fryer on a wood deck, under a tent or on top of a tarp. Make sure to keep people away from the hot grease. 3. Keep kids preoccupied. Keep children safe by designating the kitchen as a no-play zone. Plan alternate activities they can For sale: Beautiful king size bedroom set. Mattress and all linens. do in a nearby room. If you have younger helpers on hand, never leave them unattended. 4. Stay near the kitchen. A whole turkey takes a while to cook, but if you need to leave the kitchen, designate someone to watch the stove. Fires can cause damage almost instantly. 5. Reduce heat when possible. Remember, stovetop items containing oil and other liquids splash when boiling or simmering. Protect your hands and upper arms with gloves or potholders when possible. “Some of these tips may seem like a no-brainer but people often forget safety basics when they’re multitasking and pressed for time,” said Vanasdale. “The added stress of the holidays can also lead to poor judgment and unwanted injuries.” COUNTRY Financial is a marketing name for COUNTRY Life Insurance Company®, COUNTRY Mutual Insurance Company® and their respective subsidiaries, located in Bloomington, Ill. Osprey: The Fish Hawk
From The Publisher
ARLO KALLEMEYN
Outdoor Observations by Tom Berg Have you seen a large bird soaring over a lake, pond or river recently? It may have been a fish hawk. Actually, fish hawk is just one of its many nicknames. Its real name is more regal: it is the osprey. The osprey is a large bird, with a wingspan of more than five feet. They are brown and white, with dark brown wings and a white breast. Their head is mostly white with a dark brown band running horizontally through their eyes. When flying, ospreys usually soar with their wings bent in an “M” shape, and this helps identify them. Ospreys are raptors—birds of prey. They are nearly always seen around water because they are almost exclusively fisheaters. They often fly over the surface of a lake or river and skillfully snatch an unsuspecting fish from the shallows. Although fish in shallow water are particularly vulnerable to ospreys, even schooling fish in deep water are in danger if they come within three feet of the surface. A couple of interesting facts about ospreys is they have a reversible outer toe which lets them grasp their prey with two toes in front and two toes behind. Most hawks cannot do this. They also have barbed pads on the bottom of their feet, which when combined with the reversible toe, greatly helps them get a grip on the slippery fish they catch. Ospreys are indeed one of nature’s greatest fishermen! Oil painting, 23” x 35”, gold toned frame, gazebo with floral trimmed brick walkway, $50. 708-877-6157

Today I stood at my window and complained at the pouring rain, Today a desperate farmer prayed for his fields of grain. My weekend plans are ruined, it almost makes me cry, While the farmer lifts his arms and blesses the clouded sky. The alarm went off on Monday and I complained at my work routine, Next door a laid off mechanic feels the empty pockets of his jeans. I can’t wait for my vacation, some time to take for me, He doesn’t know tonight how he’ll feed his family. I complained about my leaky roof and the grass needs to be mown, A homeless man downtown checks for some change inside the phone. I need a new car, mine is getting really old, He huddles in a doorway, seeking shelter from the cold. With blessings I’m surrounded, the rain, a job, a home, Though my eyes are often blinded by the things I think I own. —Anonymous Arlo Kallemeyn Shopper Publisher and big fan of counting blessings

As people conduct their holiday travel this year, planning and completing a long distance trip can be very stressful for the more than 220,000 Illinois residents currently living with Alzheimer’s and their families. While the symptoms of this progressive brain disease can sometimes make travel more difficult, it doesn’t mean families can’t travel with a loved one with dementia and participate in holiday festivities. The Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter offers a number of easy tips to help ensure a safe and smooth trip when traveling with a person living with dementia. More tips and information are also available at alz.org/travel: • Stick with the Familiar. Travel to known destinations. Try to visit places that are familiar. • Be Prepared. Create an itinerary that includes details. Give copies to family members or friends. Keep a copy with you. • Pick the Right Time. Travel during the time of day that is best for the person with Alzheimer’s. • Avoid Layovers. If unavoidable, ask about airport escort services. • Ask for Help. For example, request airline personnel to help you navigate through the airport. • Ensure a Safe Return. Changes in environment can trigger wandering. Enroll in MedicAlert® + Alzheimer’s Association Safe Return®. • Find Local Support. Before you go, contact the Alzheimer’s Association chapter at your destination. The Alzheimer’s Association® is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s research, care and support. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. WOODROW WILCOX report to the correct insurance company for six months. In two cases, Medicare failed to send the claims reports to the correct insurance company for over nine months. In one case, Medicare failed to send the claims reports to the correct place for nine years because the senior was very healthy and was not seeing a doctor. I wrote a letter to help our client get the matter corrected. But, this kind of thing happens often because the federal government’s Medicare system is far from perfect. If I had not helped the senior, she would have been hounded to pay bills that would have been paid for her if the Medicare system worked well. All the help that I gave this client was FREE OF CHARGE. This insurance agency takes pride in its reputation to “go the extra mile” for our senior citizen clients. If your insurance agent or agency does not give this high level of service to senior citizen clients, maybe a change to our agency would be a good idea. Note: Woodrow Wilcox is the senior medical bill case worker at Senior Care Insurance Services in Merrillville, Indiana. He has saved clients of that agency over one million dollars. He wrote the book SOLVING MEDICARE PROBLEM$ (www. SolvingMedicareProblems. com) and posts articles at www.WoodrowWilcox.com.
On October 24, 2017, I reviewed medical bill problem papers for a client from Dyer, Indiana. The client provided a medical bill, a Medicare Summary Notice form, and an Explanation of Benefits from an insurance company. The client bought a Medicare supplement insurance policy through our agency which became effective on August 1, 2017. Prior to that, she was not our client. A medical bill incurred on September 13, 2017 was not getting paid by her new insurance company. She wanted to know why. I reviewed the papers and suspected that I knew the problem. But, I phoned the new insurance company to be sure. I was correct. Here was the problem. Medicare sent the claims report to the old insurance company and never sent the claims report to the new or current insurance company. The old insurance company was denying the claims because the client no longer had a policy with it. The really interesting thing is that the Medicare Summary Notice forms said that Medicare was sending the claims report to the new insurance company, but Medicare did not do that. Financial Advice Column
Take Action on ‘Giving Tuesday’ ...and Beyond BOB KRYGSHELD Did you know that Giving Tuesday is observed on Nov. 28? By showing your generosity on this day and throughout the holiday season, you can benefit charitable organizations and your loved ones—and your gifts can even provide you with some potential financial advantages. So, what sort of gifts should you consider? Here are a couple of suggestions for the charitable organizations you support: • Give cash. Any charitable group will welcome cash contributions. And if the charity has 501(c)(3) status, your gift can offer you a tax deduction. So, for example, if you are in the 25 percent tax bracket and you give $1,000 to a qualified charity, you will be able to deduct $250 from your taxes. (You will need to itemize deductions to gain this tax benefit.) You might be able to expand the reach of your cash gifts through your workplace. Some companies will match some of your contributions to charitable organizations. • Donate appreciated stocks. If you have stocks that have grown significantly in value, you may want to donate them to a charitable group. You will be allowed a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the gift on the date of the transfer, even if your original cost was only a fraction of today’s value. Furthermore, you will avoid the capital gains taxes you’d have to pay if you sold the stock, provided you’ve held the stock for at least a year. You don’t have to restrict your giving to charitable groups. If you have children or grandchildren, you might want to provide

them with the gift of higher education by contributing to a 529 college savings plan. A 529 plan offers several benefits. Contribution limits vary from state to state, but are generally quite high, although special gifting provisions may apply. And you can typically invest in the 529 plan offered by any state, even if you don’t live there, although you might not receive the tax benefits —such as deductions or tax credits—you’d get if you invested in your own state’s plan. Also, all withdrawals from 529 plans are free from federal income taxes, and possibly from state income taxes, as long as the money is used for a qualified college or graduate expense of the beneficiary you’ve named —typically, your child or grandchild. (Withdrawals for expenses other than qualified education expenditures may be subject to federal, state and penalty taxes.) Be aware, though, that 529 plans may affect financial aid, particularly if you’ve set up a plan for your grandchild, so you might want to consult with a college’s financial aid office before the child heads off to school. Through your gifts to charitable groups and your family members, you can take the spirit of Giving Day and extend it throughout the holiday season—and even beyond. South Holland Public Library Angel of Hope Project
South Holland Public Library is participating for the 5th year in the Angel of Hope Project, to provide gifts for children whose parents are incarcerated.
Since 2012, the South Holland Public Library has partnered with Chicago Prison Outreach (CPO) in their Angel of Hope project, which provides joy and hope to children who will not be able to celebrate the Holiday season with their parents. On average, we assist five to eight families each year. Gifts are needed for newborns to teenagers. According to Elizabeth DeJong, library giving tree coordinator, the program is very well received by the South Holland community. This year, we will once again be participating in this event. In mid-November, look for the tree in the front lobby decorated with the Angel of Hope gift tags. Select the Angel you wish to help and sign out your Angel with your name and phone number in our guest book. Please return the wrapped gift, tagged with the Angel tag, by December 6th. Thank you for your generosity during this upcoming Holiday season. South Holland Public Library is located at 16250 Wausau Ave., South Holland, IL. For additional information call the library 708527-3150.

Thanksgiving Sanctuary MIKE BUDER So far, Thanksgiving seems to be the standout of American holidays. While other holidays seem to be stripped of their original meanings by the engines of commerce, this holiday continues to be a day of family and friends gathering, sharing love and experience, laughing, expressing political views, watching football and the kids enjoying the company of their cousins. A day when we also remember those who are less fortunate than ourselves as we reach out to share some of our blessings with them. You don’t see people filing lawsuits against anybody else for “pushing” Thanksgiving on them; nobody complaining that their ability to freely celebrate Thanksgiving is being suppressed. No, we’re pretty much all in this one together, the most American of holidays. Nobody is stressing over what to buy people for Thanksgiving gifts. You don’t have to pull the extension ladder out and risk life and limb to hang lights on the roof. Most look forward to this sanctuary of holidays

knowing full well that in reality, Thanksgiving is indeed the calm before the storm. Yes, the storm of commercialism arrives at midnight and its name is “Black Friday!” Retailers advertise their sales like hunters baiting traps. As we drive home from our Thanksgiving celebration, we already see the affects as malls and shopping plazas are filled with shoppers’ cars. Outside in the cold are long lines of people waiting for the doors to open at midnight. When they finally do, the people rush in, push and shove to get the hot sale item… and that’s when we realize: “Goodbye, sanctuary holiday—see you next Thanksgiving…” If you are looking to buy or sell real estate call Mike Buder at RE/ MAX 2000 (708) 418-4444, E-mail: mikebuder@ remax.net, Website: w w w. Submarine USS Illinois to Make Its Home in Hawaii
ANNA M. CAISON When I was growing up, the evening before Thanksgiving Day was when our church held its annual Thanksgiving Day Service. Before the pastor gave the sermon, the saints shared songs of praise and personal testimonies of how the Lord brought them through various crises and traumatic events, and how He met needs and answered prayers. The traditional hymn that closed every Thanksgiving service was “We Gather Together.” Each year when we sang this hymn, I’d reflect on the words and marvel at how a song written so long ago could possibly identify with me in such a deep and personal way. Beyond the pain and struggle, the song nurtures gratitude and thanksgiving to the Lord for His Love and Mercy in bringing us through. This year I was compelled to search the history of this hymn. The hymn is a poem written by the Dutch poet Adrianus Valerius in 1597, to celebrate a Dutch victory from Spanish oppression. The third verse of the poem refers to the end times, asking God to spare His people from the great tribulation. In 1877, Edward Kremser translated the poem from Dutch to Latin and arranged it to music. And in 1894, Theodore Baker trans-
lated the hymn from German to English. As we prepare for Thanksgiving feasting with family and friends, let us remember that despite the difficulties and hardships encountered in life, it is God who delivers, and heals our land when we solemnly come before Him with a grateful heart. We Gather Together “We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing, He chastens and hastens His will to make known; The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing, Sing praises to His name, He forgets not His own. Besides us to guide us, our God with us joining, Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine; So from the beginning the fight we were winning, Thou Lord, wast at our side: the glory be Thine! We all do extol Thee, Thou leader in battle, And pray that Thou still our defender wilt be. Let Thy congregation escape tribulation: Thy name be ever praised: O Lord, make us free!” For questions and/or comments, send an email to anna.a62@yahoo.com . Or you can write me at: Anna Caison, P.O. Box 529, Lansing, IL 60438.

crew will arrive just in time for Thanksgiving. The Virginia-class, also known as the VAclass or 774 class, is a class of nuclear-powered fast-attack submarines in service with the U.S. Navy. The submarines are designed for a broad spectrum of open-ocean and littoral (near shore) missions. They were conceived as a less expensive alternative to the Seawolfclass attack submarines, designed during the Cold War era, and are replacing older Los Angeles-class submarines, 20 of which have already been decommissioned. Illinois will be the 5th Virginia-class submarine homeported in Pearl Harbor.

STATE SENATOR DON NE TROT TER GUESTS AT THE HEGEWISCH BUSINESS ASSOCIATION GRAND OPENING: With
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. —Psalm 107:1 (ESV) These words were first written in ancient Hebrew, along with most of the Old Testament. Did you know that Old Testament Hebrew has no verb specifically meaning ‘to thank’? The verb for ‘give thanks’ is yadah. It means ‘to acknowledge’. It means ‘to say something true out loud.’ Something true about yourself or someone else. You’re yadah-ing when you say, “It’s true, officer. I was going 50 in a 35. I’m sorry.” But you’re also yadah-ing when you say, “You stuck with me when I was going through a rough time. You’re a faithful friend.” It’s not hard to see, from this example, how ‘acknowledge’ easily moves into ‘give thanks’. The one naturally leads to the other.
It’s important to yadah God and others for who they are and how they have blessed you. To do so blesses those who have blessed you. It alerts them that you notice and appreciate them for who they are and what they have done for you. Set aside time to yadah this Thanksgiving. Set aside time to yadah God for who he is and all that he has done for you. Yadah him for specific ways he has blessed you and brought joy to your life in the past year. Above all, yadah God for sacrificial love that moved him to send his precious Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem you and restore you to life under his care and control again. Finally, set aside time to yadah others this Thanksgiving as well. Take time to yadah, specifically what you love about them and how they have blessed you. And don’t forget to say “Thank you!” Richard Zekveld. Pastor, Covenant Fellowship Church.

THE HISTORY OF A MERIC A N TELEV ISION: This a l l-encompassing pastime was the subject of Dr. Stephen Hofer, an academic who has had a lifelong love affair with how television came to be and how it got to where it is today. In addition to his expertise on television, the academician also worked for many years with TV Guide and at one time had every TV Guide that was ever printed, from the day it debuted until the day it ended. That collection is unfortunately no longer with him, as he had to auction if off due to lack of space to house it. Dr. Hofer and his wife Mary, who shares his passion for all things television and TV Guide, shared the podium Sunday November 12, 2017 for the presentation before the members and guests of the Calumet City Historical Society, 760 Wentworth Avenue, Calumet City, IL. By the way, the first two giants of American TV were Philo Farmsworth and Vladimir Zworykin, both of whom also got into patent battles with RCA Victor for much of the early 20th Century. Dr. Hofer brought over some ama zing artifacts such as early television picture tubes, which are huge and worth great sums of money for their sheer historical value. He also brought examples of old TV Guides with the likes of live TV and long-gone daytime television hostesses, Lucille Ball as Lucy, the wonderful Playhouse 90, the Howdy Doody characters, Bozo the Clown from early Channel 9, and of course the broadcasters of the day. He also authored a book on the subject. It was a thoroughly entertaining and enlightening talk that left us all wanting to know more about our favorite pastime. ***

C A LUMET A RE A INDUSTRI A L COMMISSION HOSTS PULL M A N CROSSING DESIGNER: Things are looking especially bright for the neighborhood on 111th Street known as Pullman which has a long and storied past as the birthplace of the Pullman car, the Pullman Porter, the Pullman neighborhood and George Pullman himself from a much earlier era. While the historical essence of the area is still present, some great new 21st Century developments are employing locals and bringing much needed opportunities to an area that was pretty well written off years ago. CAIC, which is located in the US Bank Building just west of the Bishop Ford Expressway, brought Tim Hennelly, President of Great Lakes Region, Ryan Compa nies, Inc to t he November 16, 2017 meeting at the Pullman Center, to talk about adding yet another star to the Pullman crow n. A 1.2 million square foot bu i ld i ng is bei ng proposed for the Pullman Crossing area, along 111th St reet a nd across f rom t he fabu lous old Florence Hotel. It joins the likes of Method, Whole Foods, Fed Ex, WalMart and others that brings a new glor y to Pullman and promises more to come. The building should be up by next fall, 2018 and occupied, all or in part, by 2019.
