Originally built in 1885 Green River Distilling Company has housed distilleries for nearly 130 years. The Green River Distillery was the first in Owensboro and was a major producer of Kentucky Bourbon for over 30 years. Unfortunately, in 1918 the entire distillery burned to the ground but was later rebuilt in 1936 after prohibition. Today, the distillery is never fully satisfied with the status quo and continues to innovate Bourbon production. Experience this distinctly American product at this innovative distillery.
