HEAD TO THE DIVE SITE WITH YOUR EXPERT DIVING CREW

Join your expert diving crew onboard the custom-crafted boat for a briefing on the dive site and scuba safety instructions. Once everyone is up to speed, it’s time to gear up. With your goggles and flippers on tight, take the plunge into the crystal blue waters and follow your leader down to depths of up to 90 feet. Submerge yourself well below the surface as your small group and knowledgeable dive masters discover the scenic beauty of this rare marine habitat.

DESCEND INTO THE WATERS OF THE AWE-INSPIRING REEF

Witness the awe-inspiring coral reefs and keep a keen eye out for the species that call the barrier reef their home. Divers often can spot tropical fish, turtles, groupers, barracudas, stingrays, nurse sharks, toadfish, lobsters, crabs, eels, and more! The reef is a rare and precious environment. As you make your way back to the surface, take one final look around the vibrant underwater setting with a newfound sense of wonder.

To participate in the experience, it is mandatory to be a certified diver from any agency, have logged a dive within 18 months, sign a registration form, and be in good physical condition. If it has been a while since your last dive, you must take a local refresher course prior to embarkation.

FERRY RIDE TO THE MAINLAND

Embark on a short ferry ride from Cozumel to the mainland for a day filled with ancient adventure. Overlooking the tremendous turquoise waters of the Caribbean stands Tulum, one of the most captivating archaeological sites in Mexico. The ancient city is speculated to have been constructed in the 13th century and survived nearly a century after the Spanish conquistadors began their claims on the lands of Mexico. Journey to the beautifully situated ruins which attract visitors from across the globe.

TRAVEL THROUGH TIME

Step into the past as your local guide leads you through the ruins, providing context for what life is believed to have been like for the Mayans centuries ago. Admire the structures that still stand to this day such as the towering Castillo. With relics of the distant past and dramatic coastal views, Tulum is certainly a wonder to behold.

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE LOCAL CULTURE

Fast-forward to the present day, as your journey continues to the modern Mayan village of Tankah. Here, you will see how descendants of the ancient civilization live today. Head into the pristine jungle to the Cenote Naval where you can take a dip, enjoy a zip line ride, and canoe your way back to the resting area. After your day of adventure, sit down for an authentic local lunch of chicken pibil and witness the process behind hand-making tortillas. Your day will conclude onboard the ferry as you make your way back to Cozumel.

Please Note: Guests must bring their own towel, and a dry change of clothes if swimming in the cenote. Lockers and changing rooms will be provided. Wet/dry shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent are strongly encouraged for all guests.
