It is the same with VPC! We need deep roots. Your giving supports practices of prayer and worship that stretch back centuries. It enables teaching rooted in the tradition of Reformed reflection and eternal insights of the Bible. These roots give stability in all kinds of winds and weather, in the cultural and economic storms of life. Your generosity also generates new growth! Beautiful moments of music and celebration express our joy and thanksgiving in fresh ways. Teaching conveys timeless truths to a digital age and secular society. Participation matters! VPC's community breaks down into three groups: • Group A: Those who contribute regularly and pledge via commitment card • Group B: Those who contribute regularly but do not pledge • Group C: Those who we have no record of contribution What can you do to move up one group? VPC is blessed by our community's generosity, but we value financial participation above a specific dollar amount. Creating a rhythm of giving helps you strengthen deep roots and helps new growth!

INVEST IN VPC
Determining how to be generous with your Godgiven financial resources can be challenging. Here are some factors to consider when deciding what and how to give to VPC:
• A gift becomes a holy offering when it is given prayerfully and intentionally. • Remember and give thanks for all your blessings. Reflect with your spouse, if you are married, and with your family, if they are close by, on the gifts God has given to you. • Think about the ways your money is used to support charities and causes, as well as VPC. How do you rank these investments? • Consider your likely income in 2024 and decide what percentage you want to give to bless the world and build the Kingdom. • Pray about your intentions and ask God to confirm them, giving you a sense of joy about the gifts you are intending to give. • Fill out the enclosed commitment card, trusting that the dollars will be used carefully and faithfully by VPC, knowing we are very grateful for your generosity.

VPC welcomes the support of your prayers, and we ask that you lift our church up often. VPC is also blessed through the skills and talents of our community, and we invite you to find opportunities to give back with your time.
1. Fill out & return your 2024 Commitment Card Sharing your commitment helps us forecast and budget for 2024. You can mail, submit online: vpc.church/give, or bring to Commitment Sunday on November 12. 2. Securely give online Your information is encrypted and never given to third parties. Setting up recurring giving is fast, easy, and safe. Automatic giving can be set up from a bank account or credit card. Try it out: vpc.church/give. 3. Text-to-give You can give right from your phone! Text the amount of your donation to 480-372-8548. (First-time users will be prompted to visit a secure URL.) 4. Securely give with your smart phone via the VPC Mobile App. VPC's Mobile App easily and securely connects you to VPC's EasyTithe page, where you can manage one-time and recurring gifts.

Sunday, November 12, During Worship Services You are invited to join the VPC community and celebrate your commitment during all worship services. There will be an opportunity to turn in your completed Commitment Card. Additional cards will be available if you forget yours.
