EXPLORERS is back!

Helping children understand the love of Jesus is one of the most important investments a church can make. This year, as VPC's Children's Ministry is helping parents raise their kids into arrows aimed right at the heart of Chirst, would you consider joining us? Stephanie DeHaven, a long time Sunday School teacher, explains how she was drawn to teaching: Stephanie, can you describe why you decided to volunteer for children's ministry? It's a fun, non stressful way to feel a "part" of something. Those kiddos get into your heart and it's so fun to listen to the things they say and see the light of Jesus through their eyes! How did you know God was calling you to try out children's ministry? I felt a tap on my shoulder that said "hey, you need to make a stronger commitment and engage." This is a fun a meaningful way to do that- and it's only every other week! What does it feel like to be part of the children's ministry team? Needed. When those little faces are so excited to see you on Sunday morning, grab your hand and go learn about the Bible- you can't beat it. Is God tapping you on the shoulder? Contact Tina Gilbreath, Children's Ministry Director: tinag@vpc.church, 480-991-6242 ext. 160
