VPC is a place where your kids can feel safe and be themselves Safety
The safety of your children is of critical concern to us. As such, we require all Children’s & Student Ministry volunteers to complete various training programs and submit to a thorough background check. The VPC Protection Policy (vpc.church/children) outlines in detail the process in place to keep our kids safe.
Register
We also employ Simple Church Check-In, a computerized check-in system that adds an increased layer of safety and peace of mind. You can register quickly for this at one of our computer check-in stations on Sunday morning. We ask that each child under 18 years old register online to make sure VPC has all necessary information like emergency contact, dietary restrictions, and allergy concerns. Facilitator: Pastor David Turner Thursdays, September 12-November 21 10-11:30AM, Chapel Parlor, Cost: $12 Based on the book by Julie Yarbrough, Beyond the Broken Heart is a nine-week course for those grieving the loss of a loved one. We grieve because we love, and the deeper the love, the greater our grief feels. Even in the face of grief, we give thanks for having loved so deeply. In our grief we have a story to tell; it’s important because it’s our story. It’s a story that tells others of the pivotal moment when your world changed. Together with others traveling this path, you will find support, encouragement, and experience personal and spiritual growth through the healing power of God’s presence. Cost includes the book. We welcome you to join in this amazing, healing journey.
