REMEMBER MONDAY
Remember Monday are the UK’s viral sensation pop-country trio. Having met in college at 17, they’ve spent years honing their signature harmonies. 2023 saw them open for the likes of Billy Joel and Natasha Bedingfield, as well as selling out multiple headline dates of their own. They then started 2024 with a new lead single ‘Laugh About It’ and a performance/interview segment on The Jennifer Hudson Show!
Owen Riegling, a small-town Ontario artist, blends organic authenticity with his roots in Mildmay. Signing with Universal Music Canada in 2023, he’s soared with hits like “Old Dirt Roads,” topping charts and stages like Boots & Hearts. With over 66.2M streams, tours with Chase Rice, and awards like CMAs’ Breakthrough and Male Artist of the Year, Owen’s genuine connection keeps growing.
Luke Combs’ journey to the top of the country music charts is nothing short of a modern-day fairy tale, but with a twang. This Asheville, North Carolina native kicked off his musical journey as a young boy, belting out tunes in chorus classes, school musicals, and his church choir. One of his earliest shining moments was performing at the prestigious Carnegie Hall with his choir, hinting at the star he would become.
However, it wasn’t until Combs turned 21 that he picked up a guitar and started writing his own songs. College life at Appalachian State University gave him his first taste of live country music performance, debuting at the Parthenon Cafe in Boone, North Carolina. The country music bug bit hard, and Combs soon decided to ditch the textbooks and chase his Nashville dreams.
Fast forward to February 2014, Combs released his debut EP, The Way She Rides, and officially set off on his professional music journey. From those early days, Combs’ rise has been meteoric. Today, he’s a country music titan, multi-platinum and award-winning, with two CMA Entertainer of the Year awards to his name. Not bad for a guy who started singing in a small-town church choir!
One of Combs’ most recent highlights is his soulful cover of Tracy Chapman’s classic “Fast Car.” This smash hit didn’t just win Single of the Year at the 2023 CMA Awards; it also spent five weeks ruling Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and made history by topping the Hot AC chart. With over 700 million global streams and a lengthy stint on Billboard’s Hot 100, “Fast Car” has driven Combs straight to the top.
This chart-topping single is part of his latest album, Gettin’ Old, a companion piece to his 2022 hit record, Growin’ Up. Critics and fans alike have showered praise on Combs, with Esquire dubbing him “the best country singer of his generation” and Billboard celebrating his “electrifying-yet-earthy voice.” The accolades are well-deserved for an artist who has captured the hearts of country fans around the world.
Combs isn’t just a studio star; he’s a live performance powerhouse. Known for his high-energy shows, his recent world tour smashed records as the biggest tour ever for a country artist. And the excitement doesn’t stop there! This year, Combs hit the road for his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” U.S. stadium tour, with back-to-back nights at massive venues like Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium and East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium. The ticket frenzy was real, with over a million tickets flying off the shelves in the first weekend alone.
Just in time for Father’s Day, Combs dropped a brand-new album, Fathers & Sons, on June 14, 2024. This release was a heartfelt exploration of his life as a husband, father, and top-tier entertainer. Listen to the album on all streaming platforms!
Luke Combs continues to light up the country music scene with his relatable storytelling and powerhouse performances. As his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” tour comes to a close, fans are still buzzing with excitement. Learn more about Luke Combs and view his tour schedule and past performances at www.lukecombs.com. ALEXA GOLDIE
AT THE LISTENING ROOM
On May 20th, 2024, Alexa Goldie hosted a writer’s round at the famous Listening Room Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee to a full room. This is the first stage Alexa ever performed on in Nashville, back in 2019 alongside powerhouse writers Jenn Bostic, Phil Barton and Jeff Cohen. This was Alexa’s 6th time playing on this stage and she mentioned that “every time is as special as the first”.
The purpose of writers rounds at the Listening Room are to have songwriters tell the stories of their songs to an audience who are there to listen! Alexa mentions that she loves playing Broadway gigs, but there is something special, rewarding and refreshing about playing her original music.
Sharing the stage with two well-known Nashville writers, Becca Rae and Karleigh Paige Schmidt, the audience was in for a treat.
Singing five released singles and debuting one new song, Alexa had the crowd’s attention at her fingertips. She started the round with her uplifting song He Would, “I was on the phone one day with my best friend and she was complaining about all these red flags and sketchy things that her boyfriend was doing. I’m not one to confront people but when she called me back a few days later and he was still doing these things, I didn’t know how to tell her. So, I wrote a song about it and released it to country radio…by the way, they’re no longer together” (audience laugher).
She followed this one up by singing her upbeat single Come on Home.
She introduced the song by asking the crowd to let her know after the show if they think she should release it. “Last year I was back in my hometown grocery shopping, and I ran into my exes’ Mom. I was
quickly reminded how close I was with her, but I could tell she was holding our breakup against me, because she had no idea who actually made things end (cough, him). I wanted to blurt out all the horrible things her son had done to me, but I knew that wouldn’t help me, it wouldn’t only hurt her. That’s what inspired this song, called Break a Mama’s Heart.”
The crowd’s reaction was like no other I have seen at the Listening Room. There were grown men and women with tears in their eyes and letting out a loud applause at the end of the song. A lady sitting by herself at one of the front tables yelled out, “You must release that. Every girl and every mama can relate to that. What a beautiful song.”
To follow she sang her hit songs Bad Boy and Set in Stone. Audience members were caught singing along to the words of Bad Boy and Set in Stone, as they had heard it on SiriusXM. The room was completely silent; you could hear a pin drop any time Alexa sang.
Her last song Not My Own was a crowd favourite, leading to the loudest applause and roaring cheers. “Being an independent artist can be hard and there are times when you feel like there is an easier journey you could take through life. If you are chasing your dream, or supporting someone else’s, I think you will relate to this song.”
As the show came to an end, Alexa was bombarded with a line of 90% of the audience waiting in a line to take pictures, talk to her and get autographs. One fan started crying as she walked up to Alexa, saying that hearing her song Not My Own was what kept her going. Other fans mentioned to Alexa that they had changed their travel plans to stay in Nashville an extra 3 days to watch her show.
After nearly an hour of greeting her fans, Alexa mentioned to me that she is always pleasantly surprised after every gig because the size of the crowds that recognize her music keeps growing; her fan base is expanding at a rapid rate.
Listen to Alexa Goldie on all platforms.

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS THROUGH SONG BECCA BOWEN
Born and raised in West Columbia, South Carolina, Becca Bowen is the embodiment of a modern country star with old-school charm. From her gospel roots to her Southern Belle-meetsoutdoorsy persona, Becca seamlessly blends confidence, authenticity, and talent into her music. Whether she’s singing heartfelt ballads or fiery anthems, her journey reflects the kind of resilience that makes country music so universally relatable.
“I feel like as a woman we should be able to talk about how we really feel,” Becca shares, a sentiment that shines through in her songwriting. Since her debut single Love It, Leave It in 2020, Becca has steadily built a catalog filled with raw emotion and captivating storytelling. Her debut album, Like You’ve Never Been Loved, features contributions from country heavyweights like Lee Brice and Rachel Bradshaw, while her latest EP, County Line, charts her
personal growth. Songs like “If I’m Being Honest” and “Son of a Gun” reveal chapters of her life—vulnerable yet defiant, proving she’s a force in the genre.
Becca’s journey hasn’t been without twists. After stepping away from music for a time, a chance moment reignited her passion. "I was at a country music concert and the artist asked me to sing 'Shallow' with him," she recalls. “Once I hit the stage, I realized this is where I should be—singing.” That performance sparked her resurgence, leading to viral hits like “Son of a Gun,” inspired by a real-life heartbreak, and her latest track, “Heartbreaking Business,” a country-rock anthem channeling her fiery Southern spirit.
But it’s not just her music that captivates fans. Becca’s versatility shines beyond the stage. A former winner of Outdoor Channel’s For Love or Likes, she thrives
in spaces where grit and glam coexist. From headlining Nashville’s Whiskey Jam to starring alongside Chuck Wicks in Shiners, Becca’s star continues to rise.
With every track, Becca tells her story unapologetically. Her blend of authenticity and artistry makes her a standout among country music’s rising stars. Catch Becca’s latest singles “Tangled In Your Love,” “This Christmas,” and “Small Town Christmas” on streaming platforms and follow her for updates on her next chapter.

Have you ever noticed that many men and women suffer in silence? I’m a solutions guy. I know we all have multiple problems, but many people don’t realize that a slight change in our diets and what sits at the edge of our forks and spoons can make all of the difference in the world. Trust me when I say this Louisville, KY southern guy loves his comfort food, but I’ve learned to do it in moderation. I’m a performer and I’ve acted and sang live on stages from the TPAC at Jackson Hall opposite Robin Givens and Leon Robinson, all the way up to the Bushnell in Hartford, CT. Fourteen years ago, one close call after a night singing in the studio changed my life and I’m forever grateful. That led to surgery to remove scare tissue from acid reflux, my healthy diets, and products like NEMUI Nutriswish and NEURO. After two years of active rehab and dieting, I’m now healthier and happier than ever. I want to put a smile on someone’s face this holiday season with a healthier you for the New Year. WHAT DOES HEALTHY WATER REALLY MEAN?
Unhealthy water is the #1 cause of death for children in the world. When we hear this, we think of 3rd world countries, and we should. But, it greatly effects adults as well, and yes, in America – you & me. I am a Chemist & BioChemist, working in the water treatment field for 47 years, both in the USA & 3rd world countries. As Americans, we need to be educated on water.
WATER IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA… TOXINS, HORMONES, & CARCINOGENS
The greatest exposure Americans have to carcinogens is in the shower. Just as the 2nd most effective way to inject a drug into our bloodstream is inhalation, we need to realize that whatever toxins, hormones, and /or carcinogens are in our water, inhalation of shower mists will result in the water contaminants to be absorbed directly into our bloodstream in 3 seconds as we breathe in the shower mist. We should have concerns regarding what is in our city waters, such as pharmaceuticals, hormones, fluoride (among many concerns regarding fluoride is that it is a hormone confuser). And the big one – carcinogens – are formed from the regular breakdown of chlorine in the presence of organics – particularly when potable water sources are lakes & rivers. Well water concerns are heavy metals, mal taste and/or smell, along with viruses & bacteria, depending upon the water.
GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES
Prior to 2004, our home regularly tested over 10 ppm of chlorine in city water from our kitchen faucet. The government did not have strict chlorine guidelines prior to 2004 for potable
water. Yet, if a public swimming pool tested over 3.0 ppm of chlorine, it was mandated that everyone get out of the pool. But, the allowable drinking water limit for chlorine by the government is 4.0! The conclusion? We need to self-educate and take personal responsibility for ourselves and our family.
PROPER TREATMENT OF
WATER… AESTHETICS, EQUIPMENT, & HEALTH
It is important to know (1) what is in our water, (2) what potential substances can be in our particular water periodically, (3) how can we affordably treat each of the constituents of problem water throughout our entire home. Aesthetically, (4) what is necessary for our water to taste great & have no obnoxious smell, & (5) prevent our water from spotting or staining dishes, commodes, or damaging water using equipment in the home such as shower nozzles, dishwashers, and water heaters – particularly if we have an instantaneous water heater, as hard water will damage and often void a warranty.
As a consulting water chemist to the automotive industry, I had developed a catalytic treatment system specifically for metals removal at a large automotive engine manufacturing plant. The result was that it both saved the need for a $3M waste treatment plant, and potentially kept jobs from moving out of the USA. But the unintended realization was that it was a fantastic treatment system for city and well water, for it would not only remove carcinogens, toxic heavy metals, but also fluoride, hormones, pharmaceuticals, various fertilizers, chlorine, high hardness, mal smells & taste, yet leave in the good constituents of water such as the bicarbonates. This technology, developed by Applied Technologies Resources, referred to as SpringPure, was a breakthrough for
How does it make a difference to your family & the world?
affordable, effective residential water treatment. It is so effective, these toxins and more are listed right on the label – quite different from conventional water treatment systems.

MEET BRAD ASHBY,
REVITALIZING YOUR HOME:
THE LEADER OF 360 PAINTING
Brad Ashby is the owner of 360 Painting, a home improvement company located in the Greater Nashville area that specializes in interior/exterior painting of residences and commercial properties, alike.
Despite his extensive experience in the hardware industry, Brad Ashby initially had no desire to get into painting and home improvement. Actually, he had spent 18 years traveling, doing sports broadcasting prior to owning 360 Painting. Inspired by the thought of having a business to pass on to his 14-, 12-, and 9-year-olds, and coupled with his knowledge of the industry, Brad finally decided that it would be a great investment. Presently, 360 Painting of Greater Nashville is a leader in their industry, but what differentiates them from others is they’re not limited to painting. They offer services such as pressure washing, wood repairs/carpentry, surface protection and cleanup. They’ve even done parking lot striping, as well.
360 Painting of Greater Nashville has clients that range from residential, to commercial, to municipal. They service some of the local universities, a preschool and some of the government buildings that you may have passed while traveling in the Greater Nashville Area.
Aside from being able to build several relationships in the past year that allowed him to expand into the commercial market, building a company that people can trust is what Brad considers
to be his greatest professional achievement. He mentions his many 5-star reviews glowingly, but does so in a way that reads as more humble than braggadocious. Ironically, one of his greatest achievements (the growth of his company) has been one of his biggest challenges, as often proves true with business. For example, when you complete residential service, you get paid that day. When you do commercial work, you may have to wait 60 to 90 days to get paid for the work you do. Lingering invoices notwithstanding, the driving force behind the philosophy of 360 Painting is a true love of craftsmanship, quality work, and excellent service, not just turning a quick buck.
With this in mind, Brad Ashby has some words of wisdom for our readers regarding how to choose the right provider. “Vet a company first”, instructs Ashby. “Do your research”. Next, Brad states that people want a sense of confidence in their service provider, but most people make decisions based on price, and that may be counterintuitive to the objective. Simply put, the cheapest bid isn’t always the best bid. When it comes to your home, you want good quality work that lives with you, not work that you just have to live with.
Brad Ashby and 360 Painting of Greater Nashville can be found online at https:// www.360painting.com/greater-nashville. On their website, there is a form that you can fill out to request a quote. For MyNashville readers only, Brad graciously agreed to publish his direct line: 615-717-4360, so you can speak with him personally.
We recognize Brad Ashby as being a leader in his industry, and salute him for continuing to help the residents of the community.

Yet, his most rewarding role may have been as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee, where he taught trial advocacy for 13 years, shaping the next generation of legal minds.
Mr. Galligan’s dedication extends far beyond his legal practice. For 40 years, he served on the board of River Park Hospital, championing improved healthcare for Warren County. He remains actively involved in initiatives like Main Street McMinnville and WCTE, a public television station, ensuring cultural and educational enrichment for the
community. Through his firm, he proudly sponsors “Main Street Live,” a beloved summer music series that brings residents together.
When he’s not in the courtroom or mentoring young attorneys, Mr. Galligan nurtures his creative side. An avid painter, poet, and art enthusiast, he also finds joy in tennis, running, and spending time with his wife, Rhonda, their children, grandchildren, and Simba, their German Shepherd companion.
Clients are drawn to Mr. Galligan not only for his vast legal expertise but for his genuine care and dedication. Whether navigating complex litigation or offering counsel during life’s most challenging moments, he approaches every case with the same principles that have defined his career: integrity, determination, and the pursuit of justice.
