Note from the Editors

As the cozy winter months come to an end, our teams have been busy planning new events and experiences for our members and guests to enjoy this Spring and Summer. We’re looking forward to long table dinners at Riverbend Inn & Vineyard, patio days at Terrace Wine Bar, fresh meals at The Winery Restaurant at Peller Estates and Trius Winery Restaurant, and outdoor wine tastings, tours, and experiences.

Speaking of fresh meals, our chefs have shared their favourite vegan and vegetarian meals for you to prepare at home. Visit your local produce stand or farmers market to find the freshest ingredients! These meals are so colourful; we can’t wait to dig in. The chefs aren’t the only ones who strive to be sustainable by using local ingredients, learn more about how our winemakers are using sustainable farming practices to produce our award-winning wines on pages 14 and 15.

We’re extremely proud to feature our ‘Women in Wine’. We have six incredibly talented and award-winning female winemakers at our estates in Niagara and the Okanagan. Learn about their careers and favourite spring wines on pages 10 to 13.
