EVERYDAY OILS Thieves - keep the larger spray bottles (from the dollar store or local nursery) under the kitchen, bathroom and laundry sinks, filled with water and 1/2 capful of Thieves H.H. Cleaner. Make a small sprayer for room spray/deodorizer… 5 drops Peppermint or Purification are great here. For kitchen counter-tops and kitchen sinks, you can use 10 drops of Thieves Oil rather than the H.H. Cleaner – this is great for cutting boards after handling raw chicken, I even Spritz the inside of my dishwasher, just before turning it on. You can also spritz a load of laundry just before it starts to agitate, especially if doing bathroom towels etc…. kills germs, disinfects and freshens everything. Keep a small 1oz. spray bottle in your purse or car – disinfect hands after shopping or at the gym. Especially important when cold/flu season are in full swing and anytime you are travelling on public transit or aircrafts. (Thieves Oil is 100% safe for ingestion). I’ve had my dentist use a drop of Thieves Oil (diluted w/ water) for disinfecting areas just before placing crowns ~ it worked beautifully. My dentist was familiar with the YL Thieves line and in fact, told me that he and his family use the Thieves Mouthwash . Apply a few drops of Lavender on a small ‘dampened’ cloth and pop into the dryer – it’s wonderful for sheets and pillow cases. Peace & Calming would be another option here and both of these oils are great to apply on bottoms of feet at bed-time. They are highly relaxing and helpful for a good night’s sleep. Wipe your hands together and ‘lightly' dust over top sheet and pillow cases but be careful to use vapors only as oils can stain fabric. Tip: put a drop of oil in your palm, close tightly and count to 5, then open palm and it will appear you have much more than just one drop! The European method of inhalation is also very effective, just cup hands over nose and mouth and breathe deeply. Note: be very careful with these methods for small children, babies and pets, these oils can be too highly concentrated so check with the person who sponsored you or refer to your EO Desk Reference book. These calming oils are excellent for children with ADHD or for toddlers who experience tantrums and also may be extremely helpful for anxiety or panic attacks. Vetiver and/or Frankincense can also be great oils in this regard. Lavender is great for bug bites and exceptional for infections, open wounds and especially for burns! Lemon is one of the least expensive oils, and yet highly beneficial in many ways. A few drops of Lemon and Thieves, in a bowl or sink of water, is EXCELLENT for ridding fruits, vegetables or berries, of germs, molds and bacteria - leave for 10 minutes and rinse. I make a fruit spray for cleaning citrus fruits, melons, kiwis and avocados. You can also put lemon or any of the other citrus oil, in your glass of water or into hot water at night with a bit of honey, to make a soothing tea. Put 2 drops of Lemon Oil in your glass of water first thing each morning, as it is great for cleansing the liver. YL Citrus Oils contain valuable ‘anti-cancer’ Limonene. There are over 50 research papers completed on Limonene as a valuable anti-cancer agent and approximately 75 ‘cold-pressed’ lemons are in each and every bottle!
Peppermint is good for easing headaches and also useful for all kinds of pain. A great oil for mental sharpness - we diffuse it in our home offices or put into our water in the mornings, for increased mental acuity. Lime also a favorite for concentration. One drop of peppermint on the tongue will quickly ease most digestive complaints. I use a few drops of Thieves oil and/or Purification in my office or bedroom diffuser during the winter months, as it weakens (even kills) airborne germs and viruses. Purification is imperative to have when camping, gardening or hiking outdoors – when immediately applied on bug/spider bites, stings etc. it can completely annihilate poisons. I have many personal stories on Purification in this regard, it’s a must for gardeners! Frankincense is excellent for meditation, tai chi, yoga and prayer and YL is the only company in the world who has authority to remove Sacred Frankincense from Oman. Frankincense, more valuable than gold in the Biblical days, was referenced over 180 times in the Bible – with so many benefits, you simply need to do your own research! Valor – helps give courage and strength and great for emotionally-related pain. It can be very effective to apply Valor (neat), then PanaWay over top as a layering, a truly AMAZING combination. Joy is a lovely perfume-type blend which includes one of the most expensive oils, Rose. People often make comment what a beautiful scent it is – you need only 1 drop as it’s highly concentrated and lasts for many hours… an effective blend for lifting the spirit from depression, a quick mood-enhancer! Joy, almost an instant ‘pick- me-up’ – creates feelings of happiness as the name implies. YL oils are edible and safe for human and animal health when used properly - Due to processing, many oils in the marketplace can not [and should not] make this claim. See www.seedtoseal.com There are literally hundreds of ways to use YL Essential Oils. I’ve made Soothing Teas, Lavender Truffles, Cinnamon-spiced Mixed Nuts, Dill Dip, , Wood Furniture Polish, [effective and safe] Sunscreens, Bath Bombs /Scrubs for gift-giving, and MUCH MUCH MORE. We have a great collection of recipes for health remedies, home and pet-care, children/ babies etc. so please ask for more information or do your own research. Remember these oils are highly concentrated; I use a toothpick dipped in Dill (for example) or 1 drop for sauce on a whole salmon… Oregano for lasagna, pizza or spaghetti sauce, Basil, Thyme, Rosemary, Nutmeg. Cinnamon etc.… you can have access to FRESH TASTING herbs and spices all year round ! There is also a fantastic Pocket Desk Reference available and various PDF’s should you need something specific. Go to www.oil-testimonials.com and SEARCH ‘Basic’ for which oils are used around the globe on various health issues. A very good site if you don’t have the Reference Book.
