Super Salad Workshop Takes Salads Beyond Romaine

Naturopathic Doctor Sarah Axtell of Lakeside Natural Medicine is teaching people how to take salads beyond soggy lettuce topped with boring raw vegetables drenched in a flavorless dressing. Through her Super Salad Workshop, which takes place 6 p.m. on May 11 at Lakeside Natural Medicine, Axtell will teach attendees how salads can be a main course rich in satisfying superfoods.

“This workshop will inspire you to eat more vegetables and enjoy them,” says Axtell. “Participants will also receive expert advice, motivation and recipes using food as medicine.” Axtell is passionate about using food as medicine with her patients. She helps people facing many health conditions, both digestive and autoimmune disorders, weight-loss resistance, food sensitivities and hormone imbalances.
