Video What: To communicate the functionality added to the designing platform allowing kitchen designers to view kitchen plans face on in 2-D How: Using video broadcasting to explain the changes along with screen mirroring to show the changes and direct email communication to announce the change Project Management: Liaising with several different teams to ensure the entire project was completed in time for the go live date. Email


What: To communicate business updates across the entire business every Friday at 2.30pm How: Using mail chimp campaigns to send via email to all colleagues. This allowed for links and videos to be embedded within the content making it very interactive for users. Project Management: Liaising with all areas across the business for sign off and with IT to ensure all changes were active before broadcasting to the company. Other: Each campaign had a reporting feature which allowed senior leaders to understand how engaged colleagues were with communications


Social Media What: Develop and assist with business wide launch for workplace by facebook. Taking ownership of services area and created an engaging space for colleagues to share ideas and openly communicate with one another. How: Initial communication strategy developed by internal communication managers across Dixons Carphone with strict deadlines. Each manager liaised with facebook, IT and heads of departments across the business to make sure all copy produced was up to date and had been signed off. -Created all copy for the services workplace by facebook pages – worked closely with IT to ensure all log in information was up to date for migration. -Created engaging and snappy copy for each group, worked with senior leaders to gain sign off -Managed all events on workplace and continually managed the services area with support from communication champions -Created specialised groups for each area within services and included at least 1 news stories to kick off conversation each week


Intranet

What: Updating the services intranet area on daily basis including the execution of all business updates and to communicate the daily mail drop to all colleagues every Thursday How: Working closely with senior leaders on a weekly basis to identify key changes and go live dates, send any creative briefs to graphic designer with appropriate deadlines and liaise with IT to ensure changes are inline with communication go live dates -Translated ‘business jargon’ into consolidated copy - short, sharp and catchy content -Worked closely with and managed workload for inhouse graphic designer (supported with any process changes) This was done through creating a design briefs and ensuring sign off fromt senior leaders -Managed all communications on the intranet and supported the migration from server to sharepoint


Print What: Flock – Company magazine distributed to 50 retail locations and third parties, i.e. suppliers/installers on the 1st of every month How: To produce a 12 month communication strategy covering all areas of the business, including PR and advertising campaigns and ensuring a solid delivery schedule -Liaising with retail champions and providing deadlines for content. Initial team briefs to bounce ideas around and which content would suit each edition. Working with senior leaders to gain sign off for departmental changes. Liaising with publishers Fabl regarding first draft deadlines and final version deadlines in order to hit printers in time -Working closely with graphic designer to create final look and feel of magazine before sending to print

What: Ad Hoc print projects How: To produce delivery strategy for each campaign liaising with various different teams across the business and third parties -Working closely with graphic designer on all pieces of work to support with look and feel and to ensure that senior leaders send appropriate design briefs at the initial stages -Translated process changes into engaging copy through visual means -Manging the delivery of all physical campaigns from start till end, including contact with advertisers and printers   
