The Concept in the El Balcón is to present the balcony as a series of objects wich belong to our tropical balconies. El Balcón evolves the existent sociocultural and natural puertorrican conditions transformed in objects of design. My rol in the design process was to re-create “La Mecedora” making a comfortable knitted sitting, that has to be long-lasting, and perfect for indoor and to outdoor.
INSPIRATION

The maps created, were to identify where the cyclist transit from The Capitolio to El Morro.
RESEARCH
CONCEPT
Lady Bug was born from a project that subjected you to study and research a space. Utilizing that information I designed a product based on User Center Design that would provide a solution for a problem I discovered. The location I chose to study and research was Old San Juan. The Concept is to create a space for cyclists in Old San Juan. The design has to complete certain specs, in them: illumination, security, and an overall space design for the cyclist.
INSPIRATION
What’s the identified problem? There is a fair amount of cyclists (both locals and tourists) in that area but not enough space or attention given to them even though there is a designated cyclist route. With LadyBug I am able create a space for the cyclists that would not only provide a rest stop but a strategic meeting points on the cyclists route.
