EPD170LGR
SPECIALIST & MANUFACTURER OF MOBILE ADSORPTION & CONDENSATION DEHUMIDIFIERS
With a focus on design, performance and long durability, the English / Dutch company Ecor Pro develops and produces adsorption and condensation dehumidifiers, which continuously gain larger market shares in the global market within professional damage restoration.
Among the latest products is the state-of-the-art EPD100LGR, EPD170LGR and EPD330LGR condenser dehumidifiers. LGR stands for "Low Grain Refrigerant". A normal condenser dehumidifier works on a very simple principle. A fan draws moist air in through the evaporator, where the air is cooled to below the dew point. The water vapour content of the air condenses on the cold surface of the evaporator and is collected in a water tank or drained to a drain via a built-in condensate pump. The cold dry air continues through the condenser, where it is heated, then blown out into the room again, ready to absorb new moisture from the room. This process continues until the desired conditions are achieved.
The advantage of a condensation dehumidifier with LGR technology compared to traditional condensation dehumidifiers is that it works with a double cooling system, which pre-cools the air and thereby increases the dehumidification capacity. The EPDXXXLGR series uses two cooling coils to precool the air before it is passed over the cooling face (the cold face of the evaporator). This means increased condensate and thus greater dehumidification capacity.
• In the event of a power failure, the dehumidifier restarts automatically.
• Rotor-moulded plastic casing withstands harsh treatment.
• Weighs from only 22 kg (EPD100). Easy transport with 2 wheels.
• Compact size. Measures from just 37 cm in height (EPD100). Suitable for crawl spaces and places with limited space.
• Stackable for easy storage and transport.
• Low noise level – advantage for operation in residential homes and other sound-sensitive areas.
• Built-in, almost silent, automatic condensate pump. Pumps 3.5 m in height.
• Low power consumption from 2.1 A/475W (EPD100).
• Powerful fan delivers up to 1,000 m3/time (EPD330), fast drying and perfect static pressure for mounting hoses/duct bags.

Outer filter frame in hard aluminum extrusion that can be locked in place with a small screwdriver. Easy to clean and durable.
The side panels and top cover are easily removed to allow full access to the drain tray, water pump and other electrical parts for repair and maintenance.
Four gray rubber feet, folding handle and two wheels for easy transport
Low profile feet that allow stacking and ensure stability, but do not interfere when the unit is dragged across uneven floors or up steps.
Quick connect connection with 12 m drain hose
Condensate from the pump is led through a drain hose with a quick connect connection. Remove/install in seconds. Recessed, to reduce the risk of damage during transport. The water pump can pump to a height of 3.5 m. Used with Ø7 mm hose, 12 m long.
An external hose can be optionally mounted on the discharge grille. This can be useful for certain drying requirements.
1) loosen the four screws of the air outlet channel
2) replace the adapter turned
3) attach the hose to the adapter
Straps can be used to easily secure the power cord and condensate hose.
Installation of duct bag adapter
Hoses/duct bags can be mounted on the included adapter Ø160 mm for focused/targeted drying in e.g. drying chamber/tent, under floors, in cavities, etc.

Martin Gray – CEO and owner of Ecor Pro says:
"We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and recognise that environmental performance is critical to the successful operation of our company.
Our engineers are based in the UK but have a very good understanding of the world market.
The importance of adopting best environmental practices is enshrined in our culture.
We don’t say we are the biggest. What we aim for constantly is to be the most efficient manufacturer. Our unchanging goal in these times of climate change and rising energy costs is to ensure that the amount of energy used to extract a pint or litre of liquid is less than that used by our competitors’ machines.
We offset our product’s carbon footprint by protecting trees that absorb and store carbon from the atmosphere. Planting trees is commendable, but any stored carbon is lost as soon as they are cut down. At Ecor Pro we pay to protect trees, helping them enjoy a long and beautiful carbon-storing life. And we don’t just send money overseas with our fingers crossed. We pay to protect a forest in Wales so that we know our donation is helping to save the planet. Because that’s important.
Using less electrical power to do the same job not only has a direct cost saving for customers but also helps to preserve our planet. We also think very carefully about the longevity of products.
A big reason why customers come to us is that they have been unhappy with the number of faults they have found with previous products or just how short a time they last.
By making our product sustainable in the supply chain and cutting out costs, we can afford not to cheapen products but to add in value where it counts. A product has to work and keep on working while being quick and easy to repair if something does go wrong. In a nutshell, that’s what Ecor Pro dehumidifiers deliver."
Ecor Pro realises we have a moral obligation to the future of the planet. We hope the work we do gives the world a better future.
With a focus on design, performance and long durability, Ecor Pro develops and produces adsorption and condensation dehumidifiers, which continuously gain larger market shares in the global market within professional damage restoration, the industry, the private sector, etc.
Most energy efficient
We create designs that will extract the maximum amount of water for the energy that is input. Effiicient as well as fit for the purpose.
Every product plants a tree
Every product we manufacture means a tree is planted or preserved. Offsetting the production carbon footprint.
YOUR VAN DOESN'T GET ANY BIGGER! IS THERE ROOM FOR ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS?
Carrying out damage restoration services requires a lot of technical equipment, aids, chemistry etc. It is not particularly economical or, for that matter, "climate-friendly", having to drive several times back and forth between the job and the warehouse in order to collect the necessary equipment.
Ordinary dehumidifiers take up a lot of space. And since service vehicles are not exactly getting bigger – compact and space-saving dehumidifiers are necessary. It is extremely important that cars are arranged and packed optimally in order to be able to transport the equipment required for the task.
Extremely compact and stackable
Ecor Pro's new series of compact LGR dehumidifiers make it possible to transport MANY dehumidifiers.
he example here is based on one of the industry's popular service vans, namely a Ford Transit Custom, low model and high model.
Any damage restoration worker will appreciate these dehumidifiers' compact design, light weight and stackable functionality for transport to and from the disaster site.
Furthermore, these modern dehumidifiers are equipped with heavy-duty rubber wheels, folding handles, ergonomic side handles for lifting – all features that facilitate transport up and down stairs, along floors, in and out of crawl spaces and anywhere else where space is limited.
The picture on the left shows that 12 x EPD100LGR (the smallest model of condensation dehumidifiers) can be placed in the back of a Ford Transit Custom.
The picture below shows that 9 compact and stackable EPD170LGRs can easily be stored in the same car.
Ecor Pro EPDXXXLGR dehumidifiers have greater efficiency and produce drier air (lower relative humidity, RH) compared to traditional condensation dehumidifiers.
Ecor Pro EPDXXXLGR condensing dehumidifiers use two evaporator coils to lower the dew point of the air, instead of just one, as with traditional condensing dehumidifiers.
This new design of the cooling system together with a modern low-energy screw compressor and a fan motor that meets the latest efficiency criteria for fans make up the new and highly energy-efficient EPDXXXLGR condensation dehumidifiers from Ecor Pro.
