NACM Oregon presents, the last Topic in the International Business Series. October 9 – Foreign Exchange Risk Management Robin Carpenter, CFA, CTP, has been Vice President, Foreign Exchange U.S. Bank’s Capital Markets Group The Fundamentals of Foreign Exchange will cover the FX market and spot, forward, swap, option-dated forward, and Non-Deliverable Forward (NDF) contracts. We will look at application of these products and discuss pricing in US Dollars for importers and exporters as well. Robin Carpenter, CFA, CTP, has been Vice President, Foreign Exchange in U.S. Bank’s Capital Markets Group since 2000. Prior to US Bank, she worked at General Mills’ and Nike’s treasuries, and on Royal Bank of Canada’s trading floor in Toronto. Her MBA is from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. She is past President of the AFP of Oregon & SW Washington, serves on Board of the Northwest Summit for Financial Professionals, and speaks French.
