Visa Type Delegates should apply for a Tourist Visa TOURIST VISA
is usually valid for a period not exceeding one month granted on either single or multiple entry basis.
Egypt Entry Visa is valid only for travel within three months from the date of issue and is valid only for one-month stay in Egypt, beginning on the date of arrival.
General Requirements for Visa Issuance
Fully completed and signed visa application form with one photo stapled to the form and ONE copy of the completed application form with photo (acquired from the Embassy/ Consulate office). TWO 2” x 2” (4*6cm in some regions) recent high definition personal passport photos on white background (photo must be no more than 6 months old). Actual passport plus TWO copies of the information page (still valid for at least 6 months) and has an empty Visa page. Egyptian Visa
On-Arrival Visa The Egyptian visa is simply a stamp (like a mail or postage stamp) that you can buy from the visa office located at arrival hall at port of entry just before the immigration booth; you can’t really miss it!
Once you have bought your visa you then stand in line to get your passport stamped by the immigration officer.
Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Steps to Issue an e-Visa

Sign up at visa2egypt.gov.eg Take a few seconds to get yourself signed up. All you need is your email address and some complementary information.

Sign in Sign into your account and get access to your pending application(s), or apply for new application.
Only specific countries can issue an on-arrival visa. Kindly check the Regional section for more details.

Application Processing
Fill in the application form and pay using Visa card, MasterCard or other debit cards. You are advised to create an e-Visa application at least 7 days before your departure.

Pre Arrival Visa
Nationals of certain countries need to issue pre arrival visa from the nearest Egyptian embassy/ consulate prior their departure.

Western European citizens can issue the visa from Egyptian consulates abroad or upon their arrival to Egypt at any port of entry. Citizens of non-European Union are
required to be in possession of a pre-arrival visa to Egypt and CANNOT issue a

Visa Issuance procedures
Asian citizens can issue visa upon arrival at any port of entry
EXCEPT citizens from the following countries: Iran – Israel – Afghanistan – People’s Republic of China – Magnolia - Vietnam – Taiwan – South East Asia countries ( Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Myanmar(Burma), Turkey)
Citizens from these countries age group 20-45 years old are required to issue a pre arrival entry visa from the Egyptian embassies/ consulates in their countries.

ARAB LEAGUE STATES
Visa Issuance procedures
Citizens from the Arab League States are exempted from getting a visa to Egypt EXCEPT the citizens of the following countries MUST issue a pre arrival entry visa: Lebanon – Palestine – Tunisia – Algeria – Morocco – Somalia – Iraq – Mauritania - Sudan – Djibouti In case of issuing an entry visa for citizens from these countries it is issued with no fee. In case of issuing an entry visa for citizens from these countries it is issued with no fee.
AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

Citizens from Australia and New Zeeland can issue the visa from Egyptian consulates abroad or upon their arrival to Egypt at any port of entry.
