Description Grasshopper® is a graphical algorithm editor tightly integrated with Rhinoceros 3D modeling tools. Grasshopper developed by David Rutten at Robert McNeel & Associates. Grasshopper requires no knowledge of programming or scripting, but still allows designers to build form generators from the simple to the aweinspiring. For designers, architects and students of architecture who are exploring new forms & shapes using generative algorithms, we design this workshop for exploring concepts and techniques in new way of thinking to design the process which generate new forms using grasshopper.
WORKSHOP STRUCTURE: Our workshops divided into three levels as following: - Essential workshop: Introduction to grasshopper & parametric design Transformation tools in grasshopper Data trees structure Parametric pattern & attractors concept Surface paneling Intersection operations Dynamic architecture & Movable façade 3d paneling & boxmorph Workflow between rhino & other softwares - Intermediate workshop: Introduction to add-ons Advanced paneling & meshes Attractors using add-ons Parametric flow lines & fields Parametric form Responsive skin Technical sections & annotating tools - Advanced workshop ( DIVA ): How to build parametric model Visualization Set Material & Sky Condition & Location Set Camera Run Simulation & View results Annual Daylighting & Hourly Daylighting Daylight Factor Radiation Map & Radiation Image Glare
